IF you haven't done it yet, then replace all fuel and vacuum lines with new ones, and a new fuel filter.. also on these chinese scooters spark plugs and coils are also crap so replace that with a quality counterpart.

I did all that, oil change, gear oil change, bled the front brake and checked all the electrical connectors to make sure they are all hooked up.

I got my scooter only a few days back, but I read everywhere that those are common failure points..

But I had motorcycles in the past, and the headlights sometime do not work if the scooter's engine is not running. so check that out..

Ok.. Yeah may very well be the clutch.. I tried to take the variator off today to then remove the clutch to inspect it and put some wd-40 on the springs... BUT I couldn't get the nut loose, I will try a different method another time.. fine sandpaper, 600 grit?

The scooter has about 1500kms, tho the teller says 1200 because the cable had broken not long ago.

Hello everyone!

two days ago me and my lady friend recently bought a used Baotian Rocky (I will post pictures later today)

I have done the following so far.

Oil change
Gear oil change
New fuel lines and vacuum lines
New fuel filter
New speedo cable (the old one was broken)
New battery
New valve stems front and back.

Today I will bleed the front brake and try to clean the carburator...

I think the starter relay is shot because when I press the botton for electric start nothing happens, and I tested the starter by running 12v straight to it and it worked.

Any additional suggestions are welcome!!
