Lurked around for a while searching for answers on my 2011 atm50-a 1p39qmb. Found something rather interesting wonder if anyone else has ever had to deal with it, I bought the scoot and was told it was a 2012. Whats funny is the body VIN is 2011 but the engine is stamped for 2012 and matches the body VIN. The registration papers from the state mark it as a 2011. I just found it interesting, from what I know it is not a major issue of any sort.
Currently stock but plastics removed waiting for my stage 7 50mm bbk, head, carb, air filter, exhaust, coil, CDI, 8g rollers all included.
However when looking over it I noticed half the lines about to fall off, no plastic bell on the carb and a multitude of other small issues leading me to believe that the guy I bought it from at the flea market set it up to fail so I would have to go back to him ( so he thought ). I'm half expecting to get in the motor and the valves not be adjusted or the piston upside down, and/or out of timing. From day one I thought it felt weaker that it should have been even for a 50 ( Used to race and work on dirt bikes ). Just a warning to anyone in the Southern ohio area I would stay away from Ceasers Creek flea market. The sad part is I heard great things but now I see the real deal coming out of there and will not be going back.

I will make sure to get all that done with the kit, I know it fires right up right now. So I think what I am going to do is piece it all together one part at a time and fire it up between that way if I have any issues it's not going to be ten options. Figured it would be easier to troubleshoot that way. Just the main items though as in the bbk, cdi, coil and carb. Everything else should not cause a firing issue. Thanks for the heads up and the welcome. ;D Also wondering what are the " best " generally speaking fluids to run for a bbk break in? Never done one on a 50cc or a 4 stroke for that matter always been 125+ 2 stokes.
