Hi Larry Me too,Shelly told me it would be tied up for about a week. THAT WAS LAST TUESDAY. I,m going to call them on tuesday, and if they give me another excuse, I,ll cancel the order as well as any future purchases. I liked the idea of "plug-and play" i guess im getting lazy. This is the email i sent scrappy this morning.. we'll see what he does.. Dear Scrappy I have asked for a date you would be shipping this engine, And you have not responded... First it was suppose to be delayed only one week, then you say two weeks... You are not answering my emails when I em asking for clarification as to definite date you will ship, and when I called during you during your business hours you did not even answer the phone.. So here's what we are going to do.. If you can not give me a definite date you will be shipping this engine to me, then by the end of your business day Tuesday May 28.. Consider this deal canceled, and return my money so I can go else where. When I bought this engine your website said 1 in stock, if I had known you didn't have any in stock I would not have bought this engine to begin with... I em not waiting any longer nor can I allow you to tie up my money... Either a definite shipment date or cancel the order, and return my money.... Thank you for your patients Sincerely Larry Sheetz

Hi Ramblinman I think it's more because your CVT gets warmed up, belt, clutch, Variator... After they are warm they make better use of the power... Fawkes acts the same way...

Your welcome, I'm not a big fan of unifilters, they can be hard to dial in, I always liked the airbox it's honestly a good design, keeping dirt and water out of the carb, low maint, ect.... Good luck and let us know how it goes

Yer it does but its crap . You can see it in the picture i attached . Im not seeing the pic, but if your airbox or the tube leading to the carb is all busted up and leaking air, that will cause your problem.. These little guys really need the airbox or a Unifilter to restrict the airflow..

Hi i have a gilera dna 50 i bought it a week ago . Quite cheap . When i pull the throttle back the bike looses power. But if i cover the air intake on the carburetor and pull the throttle back it works fine. What do i do ?? Well it means your getting too much air, does this scoot have an airbox on it ?

Yeah, I'm sure the swarms of illegal aliens pay! Are you SERIOUS?!?! They use the ER as a free clinic...give a fake name & walk out on the bill. Ohhh they get away with a lot more than that, driving without insurance or even a drivers license, police pull them over and can do nothing, they have an accident and again the police can do nothing, drinking and driving again they can do nothing.. Illegal's cause a lot more that just walking out on a hospital bill... But for the rest of us legal citizens we don't get away without paying.. That's my point, I never said there weren't exceptions...

Really What Have YOU Been Smoking??? PLEASE Share with the class. Kool-Aid OHHH YAAA OMG Help I C-A-N-'T B-R-E-A-T-H!!!! Public schools don't You love it??? In Fla. I don't think so. Please Show Your Math so the rest of class can follow. What if the same Guy gets attacked by a shark while Do your taxes pay for to? Kind of absurd Don't you think??? Dave That's right: the taxpayers! State and Federal, tax dollars pay for it! Irresponsible people should be left to bleed out in the gutter. That's not exactly correct, What happends is, the hospital bills the injured, if they don't pay then it goes to a collection agency, if again the injured don't pay, then the collection agency gets a garnishment from the injured work. The bill never goes away, unless it's dismissed by a bankruptcy... so the taxpayers paying for it is not accurate.... Ohhh and btw, the collection agency often buys the bill from the hospital, sometimes for penny's on the dollar that's true, in cases where they don't buy the bill they are working for a percentage of what they collect.. But the bill is settled... The only thing we taxpayers are really paying for is the emergency services used for the injured...

I can attest to John's CDI, Installed it on Fawkes, and he did start, and on one battery... that's when i discovered his crank bearings were trashed by the thinner oil i used, but that's not the CDI's fault... It works...

Yea Josh I admit I don't take back ordering well, as far as I'm concerned if you say it's in stock, and you don't have it, then as far as I'm concerned in the business deal you lied.
In addition when this happens they have tied up my money preventing me from going else where, even if the deal were canceled Immediately, the charge back on my credit card takes up to a week, so either way they have just cost me a week of downtime by lying to me to begin with..
So no I don't take it well at all... For the moment I'm trying to be patient, when scrappy does have an item in stock, it's delivered quickly and tracking numbers sent, all and all a pleasant experience, that's the only thing keeping me from canceling right now..
But not answering his phone, or responding to my emails makes me put a time limit on the deal.. End of the day Tuesday is my limit..

yes if your replacing the original you will see an air/fuel adjustment screw, that will allow even better tuning.

Ohhh no magic here, My problems with scrappydog and my backorderd engine will be resolved Tuesday, one way or the other.... Ill get thru the Memorial day weekend, If nothing from them by that time, Ill fix the problem and get me another engine, partsforscooters has them in stock and ready to go, they are cheaper too. I just have to add the 83cc kit, change the rear shaft, a couple of hours work.
Got to say I'm not happy at all them avoiding my phone calls, and not answering my emails, that alone is making me lean twords just canceling the order.
