When they shipped it wednesday, they also sent me a tracking number, I checked it yesterday, and it said delivery on the 8th. Oh well, that's cause of the holiday. Imagine my surprise wheen the mailman handed me the package TODAY Variator, coil, cam weights, jets and a flywheel puller. and i'm on the east coast! Happy happy ;D after the last experience(they got a bad shipment, and then customs held it up) this was a pleasant deal all the way! sorry you're having problems. Actually I have little to complain about, in making my purchase right, I have a brand new complete 150 engine... Have no frame or anything to put it in, but I have the engine.... So I guess after I make Fawkes a stroker again ( And I'm em considering scrappys stroker crankshaft this time ), I have my next project LOL it's a 150' perhaps it will be a stroker too, haven't decided yet...

Here's a video of Fawkes second run when he was a stroker, knotice his speedometer pegged (Please forgive the wind noise)... I was only at 2/3's throttle during that run, also notice the tach at 8000, couldn't push him any harder, that run was conformation Fawkes needed taller gears..... God I miss the stroker, must do it again.....

I'm waiting for Lone Ranger. Always been one of my very fave characters. But very very leery of how it looks like they've screwed with the story. But skipping opening weekend, only because I will not add to JDepp's ego (he said "This'll be the biggest opening of all time!"--really? LR will be bigger than the Dark Knight? eh....) >'Kat I'm really not a Johnny Depp fan at all, Liked "Pirates of the Caribbean" But that is the only movies series..

And you don't need a driver's license to have them sit in your driveway No you don't but some home associations have a problem with it.. Ive even seen them say you can't park the car's in the grass on your front lawn, so a buddy of mine jacked up the car and put it on blocks, tires were not touching the grass.. The Home owners association didn't share his sense of humor, and had a removal order issued, delivered by the Police....

Hi Doug, You know I don't make derogatory statements about anybody's ride, that's not what riding is about IMO. However I didn't like seeing to done by somebody who don't even or has never owned one... We can discuss quality, reliability, cost, maintenance, and any other issue without being derogatory to someone else ride... We may not agree with somebody else s opinion, but to make a blanket statement is not really fair and don't take into account other factors...

I come from an old world portuguese family. They would get a hog at the farm, slaughter it ,bring it home for preparing it. it's avery big affair, and NOTHING goes to waste . Younger generation just goes to the supermarket ;Dme too You should see how they do it in the Philippines, they dig a big hole, start a fire, let it burn down to hot coals, throw the hog on it, bury it with vent holes at both ends, let it cook all day, dig it out, and serve it... It's delicious...

The Slaughter process has gotten a lot more human over the years, but yea it's not something Ill ever forget.. I em consoled by the idea that no part of the hog is wasted, and that I'm helping feed millions of people.. A lot of companies are outsourcing a lot more for insurance liability, and Health Care, reasons.. Ill stop here on that one as it get political pretty quickly .. Ill just say these are the reasons it's happening an leave it there ;D

Yup, thats a good policy. I honestly don't know why i let it get to me Kinda like when a salesman pushes something on you. Keep me posted on Fawkes, Out of curiosity, you mentioned being an Industrial mechanic Me too 27 yrs in the same place, I actually became plant engineer, Just a title though, I still get just as dirty as always, still work on the machines. I work in the needlepunched nonwovens industry. You? I have been working in the Slaughterhouse industry, or food industry. Specifically pork.. I'm considered a heavy mechanic as I'm a level 8 out of 9 possible, so basically I work on any and all equipment they have. Because of sanitary concerns LOL I don't get dirty.. Even my tools are sterilized several times a day..

wow thats great! hey Larry, I do feel kinda bad about the chinese scooter thread. I just took offense at the guy trying to tell me what i find a good value is not, I figure I paid 800 for the thing, and rode the heck out of it for 16000 miles by simply maintaining it and not abusing it. It still runs too! if it blew up today, it owes me nothing. I think it was a good value. anyway its water under the bridge. I'm going to do the variator & gearing next week Hi Jack I think all of us view "Value" a little differently, as everyone's finances are differently structured... I paid 650 dollars for Fawkes back in 2010, have done several upgrades, and downgrades to him.. When I bought him I was on a limited budget, and had to use a layaway plan.. But he was paid for in full before I got him... So Fawkes aside from insurance 125 per year, gas, and the upgrades are all he has cost me since 2010... Last year alone he helped me earn 40,000, the year before that, 36,000... So I consider him a great value earning far more than he cost... Also to be honest, I would not worry about what others think too much, opinions are like candy bars, there are so many different kinds and taste out there... I listen to others opinions, and apply the ones that fit my life...

Well I just tried the Millsc mod, Leaving out the spacer between the intake and the head, Surprisingly I did get more power, Fawkes made 47 mph at 7500 rpm, at that point i had to shut him down, ran out of road LOL... yea it works getting rid of the 50cc spacer restriction..
