Interesting. Cuba is one of the last places I expected to embrace the e-scoot revolucion. It must be a gas to see an electric scoot zooming past a 1954 Belair.

Conquering the largest empire in history (by land area) is pretty macho. Just uniting the tribes of the steppes was extremely macho.
-On the other hand, casting plagues on Pharoah's Egypt and being the NRA spokesperson are pretty macho too.
I'll go with Moses because his influence on the current world is much larger, IMHO.
-Moses grew a better beard, too.

Agreed. By the same token, if green energy is your priority, there are far more affordable electric powered options available. You could spend the savings from the purchase of a cheaper e-scoot or e-bike on a solar generator and/are or wind generator system with batteries. It wouldn't provide enough power to go off-grid, but it would reduce your electric bill and provide an emergency power source (for those of us in hurricane country and tornado country).
Whether you are a scooter enthusiast or an environmentalist (or both), its difficult to consider the Vespa Elettrica very desirable at that price.
