The only reason I would try to talk you out of it is so I could buy it myself. Try finding another Taiwanese 250cc scoot in good shape for that price.

I love that bridge made from a bundle of scrap lumber and limbs tied together with rope. Makes me feel bad about complaining about the roads I drive to work.

Why do you s'pose that there is no 250cc version of the Rowdy or the naked Icebear offered? It would be fun to see one on the freeway.

Isn't that like asking, "Which is more flammable; granite or quartz?"

I have noticed his absence as well. He posted a lot of great threads when he was active and he was a great deal of help with troubleshooting and repairs. I hope we hear from him again soon.

Welcome to the forum. Kudos to you for taking the MSF course. That course will help you avoid accidents. A 125-150cc scoot will normally have a top speed between 50 and 55 mph, so you can safely travel more roads than you could with that hard working 50cc scoot.

Saw the Great Wall with Mat Damon. It was 3D and We paid extra for action seats that vibrate aND lean with the film. At least the seats wake you when something happens. I'd wait for dvd on this one.

I agree with chopperguy. Intake air leak. Just tightening bolts and screws usually does it. If not, spray WD40 at likely spots on your intake manifold while the engine idles. The engine will speed up when you spray WD40 into the area with the leak.

I would be more optomistic if an enthusiast bought the rights to the marque. Investment Bankers are usually concerned only with the bottom line.

Electric scoots have come along way, but they have more to go to be competitive.

Better late than never. Hyosung now offers a 250cc thumper with 28 horses (Bettering the Zongshen 24hp thumper.) Lets hope Hyosung offers this engine in a scooter soon. The Hyosung v-twins looked cool in their cruisers, but did not seem so suitable for the recent small motorcycle horsepower wars. I love that statement,"On the track (or highway), if you are looking no further ahead than the car just in front of you, you are looking at the PAST". So true.
