Better late than never. Hyosung now offers a 250cc thumper with 28 horses (Bettering the Zongshen 24hp thumper.) Lets hope Hyosung offers this engine in a scooter soon. The Hyosung v-twins looked cool in their cruisers, but did not seem so suitable for the recent small motorcycle horsepower wars. 250 singles are the hot ticket in Asia. The Big 4 all have them there. I guess they figure they might as well sell it here too.

We've beat this up and down and back again,,, in Asia anything from a 175 and up is considered a full size motorcycle,, reasonably fast and still retains great mileage ,,,& decently quick,,, just about any 250 will beat a stock Harley bagger in the quarter ,,even with the 110 cube mill ,, a whopping 1800cc plus,,, yikes,,, I never understood it myself and probably never will ,, that stuff is lost on me,,,
