We have learned the benefits having multiple fuel sources from what happened to Argentina a decade ago, or so.
-The Argentines had become energy independent by using the alcohol fuel from sugar cane. It worked great until a long draught ruined the sugar cane crop one year. The cars and trucks were equipped to run only on alcohol, so the economy soon plummeted even further. It took quite a while to convert all those vehicles to run on Petro, LPG and alcohol.

I see the Foyt shop next to us 290 when I drive to Austin. I didn't know if it was an actual race shop or something else.

I remember those days. My Kawasaki enduro had a whopping 4" of suspension travel.
-Ironic, that many of those 70s mx racers are riding hard tail Harleys these days.
