 That's just crazy. What did they say the fair market value of your scooter was? Also, what kind do you ride? Hi desmerwebb. My scoot is a 2009 CFmoto Fashion. I payed $950 for it. Notarized bill of sale. State of Ga. said fair market value of my scoot is $2300 . My point is Ga. could have said $3999. fair market value of scooter. I know that people who buy cheep car 2 or 3 thousand are being appraised at 5,6,7 or 8 Thousand fair market value of said car. Sounds arbitrary to me & for sure a great money maker for state. Just think if I sell it to you & then you go register it. The state is going to charge you the same fair market value of $2300. X 6.5%.  See with old valorem tax if I pay it this year then sell to you. You don't cause tax is paid for this year.  Dave |

In Georgia 49cc 30MPH max speed no registration or Ins. needed. Must ware helmet and have regular drivers license. But a lot of people buy &drive them when they get a DUI. Most cops don't know this.

Well my state of Georgia just changed the law as of march 31. If you buy any vehicle after this date, You will pay 6.5% of what the state says is fair market value tax. It took 5 days for the state to figure out what fair market value was for my used 2009 cf moto fashion  title fee 18.00 tag fee 20.00 fair market value tax 149.50 Thank God this is a 1 time tax. I feel sorry for the people who pay 2 or 3 thousand for vehicle to find the state says fair market value is 6,7,8 or 9 thousand. O-boy Ga. tag offices all need a 55 Gal. barrel of fair market value tax lube at front door... Dave |

I was looking at one about 4months ago for $950. Which I thought was a little high for a used 2 yr. old Chinese scoot with 8600 miles. I paid $950 cash for my 2009 C F moto Fashion with only 43 miles I still want a rowdy.  Dave |

Taxes are a form of indebtedness. All working as privet contractors and or under the table. They don't run as business. Also I have about 26 friends, who do the same thing But at the end of year call the IRS and negotiate 20 to50% of what they owe. Also if you start social security and owe IRS they cant touch it You don't have to believe me. Check it out for your self. Hate to say it but it's all a scam. Dave |

Good thing to, cause 2 ex wives could burn water No joke. Shoot pool and yes I'm a shark.  Don't hide it. 5 years ago was semi-pro. Flea Markets. Love to find great deals on things I really need. Chasing Wild women. Only problem is some time I Catch Them.  Frisbee golf. A lot cheaper than regular golf And I've never lost my balls... Dave

If the lights don't flash but are modulated, they dim and brighten, you are within the law and still safer. At least in arizona It's the same way were I live in Ga. I was Just being silly  The Funny part is it's all true.  Dave  |
