I love the sun on my skin when i am riding. Never in my life have i ever been sun burnt. I know the consequences of not wearing the proper gear in the event of a accident and i fully accept what can happen.... I am with you -- I like the sun and wind. If you are blocking the world you might as well be in a steel safety cage, AKA "car."

Well I have to add some more bad news to us poor misguided slobs living in cali,,no carb certs for the g400,,, no anticipated release date ( late 2016 at best),,, massive drag for me,,,I really like this bike,,,,( borderline love),,,,,,, You can buy a bike and ride it to Arizona. Go to the Genuine Motorcycle dealer with your bike and a sledge hammer and destroy the bike. You can then buy the G400C and ride it home and register it in California. www.dmv.ca.gov/portal/dmv/?1dmy&urile=wcm:path:/dmv_content_en/dmv/pubs/brochures/fast_facts/ffvr29"There are a few exemptions to the law. As a California resident, you may be able to register a 49-state vehicle if it was: ... Purchased to replace your California-registered vehicle that was destroyed or made inoperative beyond reasonable repair while you were using the vehicle out of state...."

Twelve years ago I would have had one. I would have one today if I could swing a leg over the saddle. Had a new Suzuki GS450E in 1982, basically the same middleweight that I took from L.A. to Seattle and back.

"Macho" is an attitude. To have an "attitude" requires life. You can't kill a boulder, but it for sure can kill you in a horrible way, more machoness proof Ah, no.... You can kill a boulder. Check out this tree: wondersofwyoming.com/tree-rock/

... it takes a special breed of cold-blood to rip into somebody with a chainsaw while they shriek in agony as their body parts fly.... Sounds like my wife. The chainsaw would be mercy. She has lots of better ideas for killing people that need special attention.

hey Kat, I'll let you try my 1500cc wing.... then we can talk heavy... it's roughly 900lbs... ... I'd let Kat ride it, for example... Yeah, uh, thanks urban, and not that I don't appreciate the offer nor the trust, but I think I'll pass. My second advanced MSF class, there was me'n'Peej, another gal on a Ninja (who slid out and got hurt and left), then Goldwings and whatever the Harley version is. When we parked together, my scoot looked like a little baby-bike next to all those big ol' brutes. I am very content with my 200cc bike, thankyouverymuch. Although I would like to someday scrunch on enough courage to try him on a highway...maybe.... >'Kat You might like my old bike, a Suzuki LS650 Savage (now call the S40.) Only 380 pounds with a 652cc single with just 30 bhp or so. I also have to talk to you about your website: sylvrekat.com/

Just about every motorcycle class tells you to use your full lane, and to keep your distance from other vehicles. If the rider had been in the left part of the passing lane he might have had a chance to dodge.

It is a lot more fun riding a slow bike fast than riding a fast bike slow.

Note: GAS chainsaw is macho. I have an electrical chainsaw. Connected on a 50 foot leash is not macho.
