I will go with the chainsaw, I've seen kids using AK47s and even pink ones, that's not very macho

Guns is distant, kids can and use. Chainsaw is close and personal:

Note: GAS chainsaw is macho. I have an electrical chainsaw. Connected on a 50 foot leash is not macho.

Chainsaw. Although not having experienced either personally, I still imagine the chainsaw makes more noise and more vibration and more mess. That last being the key factor in macho-inity.

Charles Bronson never used a chainsaw, so chainsaws are not macho.

It's CLOSE...
Both can put you in a closed casket, but the chainsaw (used as a weapon) gets REALLY gory and personal. Anybody can do in their fellow man at a distance with the AK, but it takes a special breed of cold-blood to rip into somebody with a chainsaw while they shriek in agony as their body parts fly. I'll go with the chainsaw.
VERY macho, but in a particularly grisly way... EEEWWWW!
Leo (hopefully reserving the chainsaw for trees, and the AK for worse times than these...) in Texas

Paladin,
EEEWWW! Sounds more like my Ex-wife... LOL!
I think some folks learn their "intra-personal" relations techniques from ISIS... Double EEEWWW!
Ride safe!
