WorX has a 16" bar, 14.5 amps, 3.5 peak horsepower -- sits in the garage, ignored. After a year of not being run, need it, plug it in and it works without any work or pulling or fiddling with stale gasoline.

If not adults then their parents paid for the rental and they want their kids killed. Probably for good reason.
I am sure that 50% of all people will call all motorcyclist idiots and all should be taken off the road. I do not willing to have them say I cannot ride. I cannot tell those teens should not ride.

NONE WERE WEARING HELMENTS!!!!!!! And??? If they are adults then have the right to comfortable and risk injury. I don't wear a helmet in a Free State, other than that day in NM riding through hail.

Hi brand newbie here and I'm interested in a highway worthy offroad capable scooter If anyone can point out a model or 2 in the 150cc to 250cc range it would really be appreciated Larger wheels would be better and I would even consider a rugged onroader I would be able to throw some knobbies onto... I would need more information as to what you are looking. "Highway worthy" -- how worthy? Highway meaning 50 mph on two lane country highway or highway meaning on the freeway? Are you willing to sit doing 55-65 mph on the right lane on a 150 or would you want 75-80 mph on a 250 able to keep up % of traffic? How off-road? Gravel roads? Dirt roads? Un-improved un-graded "jeep" roads? "High clearance vehicle" roads that will splash and cross small creeks? Riding over boulders? How good are you off-road? Why interested on on/off-road scooter rather than simply getting a little 250cc dual-sport like a Yamaha XT? Mostly on-road, or mostly off-road? (What I consider "off-road": www.andruschak.net/mike/AZ-T.jpg -- I would be willing to ride my LX150 over anything better.)

[replyingto=bigggroovy]bigggroovy[/replyingto]As far as I know, % of people who ride motorcycles and scooters to not take it seriously. % do not ride for cheap transportation. % for recreation, for fun, not for serious transportation, not for work. The young lady was on a rental scooter, riding it because it was cheap transportation. She was taking it serious.

Not a scam. $990 worth of tickets for a $500-600 scooter. Even if it includes shipping the site pockets $300+
