... Macaroon Cookies: 4 egg whites.... They were good. So was the French Vanilla Ice Cream. Thankyou. And I separated the eggs the old way. I can do four eggs quicker than looking around for a small plastic bottle.

Bad Driver. Bad Pillion. Not my problem! My rules: you wrap your arms around me, you paste yourself to me. If I cannot feel your nipples in my back we do not ride. Which is why I do not give rides to guys. The girl was loose, not holding the driver. Stupid hurts.

I wonder if Vespas (with steel bodies) have this problem? I have never had a problem. On the other hand, I am in La La Land where the city/county road departments know how to adjust the sensitivity so it can see a pedal bicycle.

... when we cook something needing just whites (like the Christmas Kiss cookies YUM!!), .... Recipe time! I have a recipe for French vanilla ice cream that uses only the yolks. I need a recipe to use the whites.

I guess I really do it wrong I just eat the whole freaking egg.... Depends on why you want the eggs for. I found a recipe for a killer egg nog, that starts with separating the white/yolks. In a big bowl I beat the yolks with sugar with an electric mixer for 10 minutes. Add rum and brandy. Add milk. In another bowl whip cream until it forms stiff peaks. The bowl of egg whites (forgot about them, did you) whip until it forms stiff peaks. Fold the egg whites into the big bowl. Fold the cream into the big bowl. I use all the whole egg, but they need to be separated while making the nog.

... My "new" old Kymco has a monster-sized forged-aluminum rack with built-in back-rest, bolted to the frame, with lift-handles for the passenger, and to place the scoot on the center-stand. That rack looks, and feels like you could hang the scooter from it.... Lawyers! I had a '74 DT175 and a pad designed for the rear luggage rack -- to carry a passenger on.

Ahh... no.... This thread is "only MOSTLY dead. There's a big difference between mostly dead and all dead. Mostly dead is slightly alive. With all dead, well, with all dead there's usually only one thing you can do." -- Miracle Max

Err...I would bet that 30lbs of groceries is WAY, WAY more than that rack is rated for! No duh! Manufacturers underrate everything. I had a reputation of making things work that they cannot. My rule is that if anything breaks it needed replacing. My Vespa has a GVWR of 670 pounds -- which is the bike, me, and 220 pounds of stuff. And that is without overloading. I cannot find a GCWR, but I figure I should be able to connect a 200 pound trailer on to the rack.

Ya just never know what you'll learn next? Hmmm..... Gotta try. Which is quicker and easier -- separating yolk and white over the shell, or finding the bottle off the shelf, sucking up the yolk, squeeze it into a bowl, take the bottle to the sink and wash and put back into the shelf?

HA! On a 250 class scooter? For a real E-ticket ride try a 150.46cc 11.7 bhp 250 pound 11" front 10" rear wheel Genuine Vespa: I have been slow before, I'll be slower in the future. In '62 my '53 Dodge had ... ah ... problems. I got pulled over for a noisy muffler. OK. Went to get a muffler... GEEZ! I can't afford that! Being 16, hence a genius, I found a can that fit, nailed lotsa holes in it, rammed it up the tailpipe. Hissed like a kettle pot, but was quiet. Went on the freeway -- could only do 55 mph, max, wide open throttle. In '66, in L.A., Sis' 1957 VW KG, 1200cc 25 bhp, lost downtown somewhere, no big deal just find a freeway, found the Pasadena freeway, accelerating, and see a STOP sign! What? Stop, see the freeway in front of my nose. You GOTTA be kidding! Luckily it is the '60's, less traffic, no one behind me. Good. Reverse, back up about 100 feet, PUNCH it and run the stop sign. In '67 I had a Yahama Twinjet, 100cc two stroke two cylinders. Was going down Davidson Blvd when the street dropped down and became the Davidson FREEWAY! Lay across the tank and I actually managed to keep up with traffic. '75 I got a Fiat 238 VAN. 43bhp, 5,000 pound gwr. Converted into a motorhome -- full size bed, sink, stove, refrigerator, 20 gallon water, 5 gallon propane, could carry my DT175 Enduro inside. Did I mention 43 bhp. I did 57 mph on the flat, no wind. Going to work there is a hill at Gage that slowed me to 50 mph. On the Interstate loaded semis passed me UP the hills. So when I thought of getting a scooter I rented one and tested it. Surprise! It could do it on the freeway. So I bought one. In 15 months 8,000 miles about 25% of those miles have been on the freeways. Going up the Grapevine was interesting. Both ways. Twice.

.... You shouldn't be proud of being able to haul 24 bottles of beer What? You don't need to do a Beer Run? Old picture -- I can carry two cases, I now have luggage racks front and rear. Do you don't drink, or is it that you use your Hamster Cage for carrying groceries?

I see it all the time and it looks ridiculous....
Your opinion doesn't mean squat. I have a $4,599 MSRP Vespa. I have a $25 Rubbermaid 8 gallon Actionpack box.
I did not buy for a scooter for fun. I bought the scooter for transportation. I got the Vespa because I expect it to last at least 10 years / 80,000 miles. My Scooter is a shopping cart. I can stash 30 pounds of groceries in the lockable tail box, more under the seat, and I now have a front rack so I can carry case of 24 bottles of beer foreward.
