Hi y'all are? Did 2000 mile oil change & checks, finally got head lites adjusted , left is still a little low & to the right. At 2200 miles speedometer quit, will need to check cable, I know it is tight on the top end. Had a gas leak on top of tank. Gasket was not sealing, pulled out and used black silicon rated for gas to seal. Other than that, I enjoy the ride!

Tried twice, seal still leaks, split inside edge. Thinking about trying RV silicon. I have access to Orings if that will work. . Have about 2000 miles, also looked for the fuel adjustment screw on bottom of carb. Looks like a cap on it. One problem at a time. Used black silicon to replace seal, had to go to work, will check when I get in. Still checking different things on scoot while I have the Plastic off. 10/14/13. Filled up & drove around, no leaks. Adjusted head lites for night rides, left is still low &to the right.

Had gas leak when fueling up, also float was showing empty when I still had over a gallon of gas left. Pulled off all plastic , noted gasket on Float had been leaking . Took out float, all plastic . Did not show signs of deterioration. Should I replace it or just tighten the gasket up? I'm also doing a oil change & general manintance.

Hi you are, just rode to New Orleans today, went on St.Charles ave. enjoyed the senerary, and change of pace, haven't been in years. Too many people in the Quarter, did not stop for Bernays. Scooter running 3/4 temps, hit a hundred today, temp wise. On the way back just crossing, hit 74 for a few miles, was running at 65, & it just opened up. Was I surprised. Have over 1500 miles so Far. You all take care.

Hi you'll are? Finished 1000 oil change, motor oil was dark, not black. Gear oil was a light coffee Cream color, will have to watch for water getting inside. Everything else was OK. Still have projects In progress, including oil catch can, have modified the screw in piece, that replaces the dip stick. Drilled & taped 1/4" pipe threads, added disconnection . Working on mounting. Ride safe.

The rear shocks jar hard on these Louisiana roads, too hard on a bad back! I ride single, with 29# in rear tire, 28# in front, Jonway YY250T 2012 model. My weight is 220#, scooter is stock on running gear, no chassis mods. How does one modify shocks for a smoother ride? Or modify a air value for adjustment? All help is welcomed and given thought! And please do not suggest moving to Texas, I Was raised up in Odessa! Attachments:

I have a Ford Windstar , added air bags. I put a cycle carrier in frame mounted hitch. I run my YY250T on carrier, and strap down. Drive to repair shop, leave Ford, and scoot home. Just another Option.

Running a KNM variator , starts pulling around 4500, & pulls a good, steady smooth ride. Will settle At 4400 rpm at 58 mph, just clocked 800 miles, apx mpg. Repaired 1/2" hole in seat with round Tire patch. Trying to quite the trunk lid rattle. Slight vibration in bars @ highway speeds. I'm still Trying to figure out how to mount a oil catch can? Any way to pull a small trailer, I have a chow who loves to ride, but too big for my lap!
