could be a cam bearing failure... I had that happen on my 50 cc and it was still under warranty. I had got it fixed and all I had to pay was the labor fee

I think your carb may not supplying enough fuel.. the carbs fuel bowl is probably running low when ur at wot and can't keep up with the engine fuel demand. I'm having the same problem with my 50 cc with a big bore kit. when I get to the end of the street from wot and wants to die but once I putt around the carburetor bowl fills back up.. i need a carb with a deeper fuel bowl

All of the 2 stroke scooters I know are oil injection.. but it is possible to run straight mix if you remove the oil injection ;D

1p39qmb/ 139qmb is basically the same thing. It is also known as 49/50cc gy6. you should be able to get oem and performance parts for it

I kwn the biggest bbk out is a 88cc /52mm.. with a 44mm stroker crank and Big Valve head. with a properly tuned cvt and a gear up kit..you can probably get that bad boy up to 60mph. ;D that is my plans for my scooter in the next few months

Would a 139QMB benefit from a oil cooler if the engine is fully modded out that's running at a sustained speed? and also can the oil pump push the extra volume of oil through the passages in the cooler?

Something is shorting out somewhere when it is getting wet From the rain.. It could be the switchs on the handlebars or maybe a Wire connector or both

I know for sure a bone stock 139qmb has top speed of about 35 to 38mph, and is rated at about 3-3.5hp @ 7-7500rpm at the crank I believe ( correct me if I'm wrong). But what about a fully modded one? For example: 52mm bbk, stroker crank, big valve head, A9 performance cam, race exhaust etc. And a top speed of about 60mph. Any inputs or if anyone has a idea, any info would be appreciated!
