I think I had a fairly bad morning this morning. Didn't see a flooded road in the dark on my way to work. Totally swamped the engine. Got recovered back to my local garage. I'm currently four hours late for work. Not sure this'll go down well with the boss. Ian I use a pair of ball and loop bungies to keep the cuffs of the rain suit from gapping around my boots which helps prevent any water from getting blown up underneath the cuffs and over the tops of my boots.
OK all you old service people

that is a good deal
may i offer 2 suggestions since its a used scoot
do a good PDI, dont know when the last time the previous owner checked bolts, nuts etc
change all fluids also

i think i 'member the name 
the starting prob, might be this
your auto choke/enricher is engaging
and if you give it gas, your flooding it.
when u 1st start it, does the rpm's go higher than normal
then settle down to where it should be.??
