i have NO idea
but i bet the numbers are different/ translated for the USA
than for other countries.
my Chrissy had a sticker right beside the fuel "hole"
that was written in Chinese, and a bit of it was
destroyed, prob from gas, but i got on line and translated what
i could cut and paste, and i think it said to use 99 octane.
well i dont think there is such a thing.

when i 1st joined this forum,
i wasnt having any probs with Chrissy at all
Blue PM'ed me a few times,
saying things like ' glad to have a woman here'
offering advice, asking if i was to timid to post--HA TIMID? ME?
But just that fact, made me a BLUE fan.
i watched his posts, and say that the guy KNEW what he was talking about,
not just guessing!
many of the posts he made giving help, i bookmarked.
{ hope SD is still there in 2 years}
One of the last PM's he sent was something like
" dang your one strong opinionated woman arent you?
i like that" " keep trying to figure out whats wrong when people ask for help and go ahead and guess, you will only learn more"

I have a taotao atm150-a, I love it got it in September 2012 from GS motorworks. I did how ever pay 1200.00 but thats with shipping, everywhere else I did research on had really bad reviews so I stuck with them. Pleasant experience I must say and not one problem, I will post pics of my ride sooner or later. I posted pics on scootdawg, I just have to get around to doing it here. I can do around 55 with my fat butt, 60 going down a slight hill. I have around 1000 miles on it, didn't really do any winter riding, still being broke in. I plan on putting a ton of miles on when it warms up.

idk anything about 'em
except how to turn on and off.
John has one, now he's completely illiterate,
when it comes to basic cell's or 'puters.
he couldnt get on on line one day
and i went to fix it
and just like a 'puter
the 1st thing u do is turn it off,
wait awhile and turn it back on.
his is verizon and cost him $20/month
thats all i know

im not doubting you, BUT
how did you come up with 60 mph? 
by the speedo ?
or other GPS system?
speedo's are usually way off, from 5-10 mph
60 mph is not unheard of, but rare for a STOCK scoot.
are those 12 or 13 inch wheels?

i had a 72 sporty, real pearl white paint and TONS of chrome
{ after owning it for awhile, i knew why i got such a GREAT price}
dont know the compression and all that
but it had the reversed gear / brakes
and no electric start.
sorta looked like the bike in easy riders, not fonda's
cant 'member his name at the second.
i had smaller handlebars, but about the same 'rake'
that freaking magneto would move a HAIR
and the B would never start,
so i got real REAL good at the 3rd gear bump and run, also.
2:30 am , stoned drunk 120 lbs.
bump and runs---lol

i wish to good i still had that AMFer sporty

all depends on the scoot
mine can cruise at 55 all day long with NO mods
and still be at only 6krpm's
most 150's can achieve those speeds at WOT
but as you know its not good for 'em
with a lil fine tuning you can get it to run at those speeds
but that leaves you NO extra throttle to get out of 'bad' situations
mine does , but mine must be really special, ask all the GREAT mechs,
and then again, lmsao, i'm 1/2 the weight of most u guys
