Dang I miss all the fun again. LOL I don't know what was written nor even the topic, but I have to agree, at times it seems a bit silly the stuff people get warned for or banned for. I do remember reading somewhere that proboards has been cracking down on the naughty words. Personally, some of the words they get upset over is just plain childish and overreaction. Maybe there should be a list of words we can't use, like George Carlin came up with: WARNING CONTAINS VULGAR LANGUAGE for some Lmao...yup big chief...it was one of George Carlins...7 words you can't say on TV...that episode of Saturday Night Live..was funny as ..umm...funny as...*BLEEP*...but he was right. |

I think some people are a bit oversensitive. I've seen cas post 2 threads already about him leaving, usually over him getting into over heated debates, or him saying some things people go like "??Wut??(..the ## is he talking about)  ". You are not one to report me. Although we get into 'banters' with each other...your skin is thick enough to take conflict...and your humanity is thin enough to let it go. No other ideas or input?.. Chihuahuas..I think you are onto something though. Somebody..3 in fact said my belt was too big. But if a Minarelli long case comes stock with a 788X17X28 belt.. and it is replaced with 3 brands of the same exact size it came with... and has belt slap with the new ones... How can the belt be too big?  |

yes the A9 cam has higher lift...longer duration..and an advanced angle. It is one of the FEW cams they give specs for. The rest we had to measure held in a rest...using a run out gauge and degree wheel. The A9 gives best mid range to high end in Scoots we try them in. You would think the A11 and A12 would give more power than that...but the cam numbers mean nothing. The A11 and A12 are low end high torque cams..almost to the point they are for off road use like Mud Bogging.. EVEN MRP THEMSELVES...CANNOT give you specs for their cams. A buddy that works in a Machine Shop bought several grinds and had to measure them himself..at work as I described above. I think MRP sucks and is overated anyway..they are all hype...therefore big prices. The kit shown does not come with head. for a long time I tried to sell the 80 BBK's on here for that price..less one dollar..and sold not a single one. Ended up putting them in customer bikes. Same Taiwanese quality. They love them!!! But because they were so cheap...folks thought they were no good here..so as I said..I sold ZERO.. The majority think the more you pay...the better you get. That is why Stage 6...MRP...NCY and Naraku can sell stuff. By charging more peeps think they are getting more....but so not true in the world of Asian made products.  So I let them spend $300 on a pipe they can get for $100...and spend $179.00 on a 2T BBK they can get for $75. Because you simple cannot explain...more money does always buy you more.  Btw..Stage6..MRP..NCY and Naraku don't even make their parts..China and Taiwan does...stamps that companies logo on it..and BOOM!..you pay 3 times more... so  that hard earned money goodbye.. |

Contra Spring is a new 1.5K one. But even new things these days arrive as no good. Did wonder about the slop and dryness of the rear sheave...even with the new NCY Torque Driver halve on it. Cleaned it..lightly lubed the proper areas before install. Odd thing is the old worn belt is happy with it...while the brand new premium belts slap all over inside the CVT cover. Maybe the old one is worn...so it slips a bit..and new ones are trying their @sses of to grab the rear pulley(with a bit of slop in it) Maybe a new rear assembly is in order.Crazy part..they charge more for just the back half than the whole pulley(both halves)...and some even less for a complete one with clutch and bell.. Just under 2K on this 2T..but it is purdy hopped up. i.e. 0-50+ in about a football field length. ryan on here will tell ya..my 0-30 is like 25-30 feet. So probably premature wear. Another reason I am trying to up gear. When riding I feel like Don 'The Snake' Purdhome...or Shirley 'Cha Cha' Muldowney. (GREEN!..varommmm.....varommm) Gone...  |

DX Even at the normal cranking speed...plug fire should almost look as a continuous pulse of spark..almost too rapid to differentiate one spark from the next. Many things can cause intermittent spark..so check as alleyoop posted. However! even with intermittent spark you should get a few 'pops' here or there..and often a few bursts of them in succession.

Ok..ok...I give up..can't figure this out! causes 'Belt Slap'? Replaced old belt cause it was slightly frayed and cracking. Replaced it with a new Gates Powerlink 788X18.1X28. On acceleration..'slappidy slap slap' against the insides of the CVT cover.Try a cheap Quiinjang 788x17v28...same thing. So in goes a 788x17x28 Bando...guess what?.. SOS again. Put the 2 miles or so from breaking old belt in..runs quiet as a mouse. Problem I have with belt slap is that I can see where it rubs the case...and wears the belt. After only a few miles on each belt..ya can't read the markings on it anymore. So I would not EVER expect one to last 500 miles like that. NOT EVEN the Gates or Bando. Has there been new technology since last summer...whereas they now make belts larger and looser than actually marked? CVT and Torque Driver are perfectly fine. In fact I even swapped in new NCY 2T Torque Driver assembly and Koso CVT. Has me way confused. Scoot came with a 788X17X28 belt. Replaced it with the same and the CVT cover sounds like the belt is split and the flap is whacking the cover... ...... |
