If the old chain does not have many miles you can use it no need for a new one. I had 4K on mine before the BBK and Stroker crank and used the same chain. I now Have 6K on the BBK. Alleyoop well I've got 10,000 miles on it now, guess I should order new one correct?

Would it be a good idea to replace my timing chain with a new one when we put the stroker crankshaft install? Or would the original stock one be fine?

Millsc, or Chris your first name right? Did you use your original stock chain? Or did you install a new one?

Walter, I need to talk to you, could you please call me? My number is 336-250-9110 thanks, Randy[/quote Walter, can you change my order to the 3mm crankshaft and minus the 92 link chain? I'll buy some other stuff if this is an inconvenience for you.

like i said before the 4mm crank only needs a half millimeter more shim than the the three, the spacer no gasket is perfect for the 3mm no gasket the piston is right at the top you can see pics on my thread. if you add gaskets to both sides it will not be at the top off the cylinder since the gaskets are around 1mm that come with the spacer. one ncy gasket and gasket sealer would be the best choice to maximize performance and compression. You may need a high torque starter upgraded wires on the starter and a high torque 20 sprag starter clutch, i needed it. Now I'm trying to contact Walter to change my order to the 3mm crank, and minus the 92 link chain. I emailed him, and left my number, could he change my order? I just placed it last night, right before I posted it on here? I hope he can change it, I'll even order more stuff in place of the difference in the parts he changes and minus's!

Seems like you have everything you need, just have to figure out a way to mod the tensioner to take the slack out of the 92 link chain. I'll be watching since I chose not to fight the build and got the 3mm. The extra 6cc wasn't worth it for me and I'm pleased with the 3mm stroke, I don't regret my choice. One gasket on each side of the spacer right? will that make the space that is needed?

Ok guys, I ordered all my stuff from Walt just a few minutes ago. 4mm Crankshaft, 1.65 spacer, NCY 61mm gasket set, 92 link chain, NCY short intake. In the picture, gaskets come in the pack with the spacer. So, I hope I got everything that I needed. Is there any other stuff that I need?

Hello all, I have looked for a good video of installing a stroker crank on a gy6 150, and cant seem to find a good one. Does anyone have one, or a clue? It looks like my mechanic guy isnt going to be in town for a month or two, so me and my brother are going to attempt this project. My brother did the BBK on mine, and his 50 vip, so I think he could probably do a stroker crank I would imagine. Also any help or tips from you guys would be great!
Thanks, Randy
