Thanks

I can't go more than 35mph. I just put a new carb in & intake. New hoses & now I'm stumped. When I do try to go faster it spits sputters & bogs like crazy. @ 1st I though the diaphragm was bad in the carb cause that's exactly how it's acting. I've got a 150cc, stock other than performance exhaust.
Thanks

Ok so city is doin some work on a street I take on the way to my job. I didn't see the big az drop crossing over & it bottomed me out to the point it broke my clamp holding my exhaust. Thankfully that's all that broke, so I thought the clamp from the old exh would be a fine replacement but unfortunately it's to big. I searched eBay to find dif sizes so Anyone have this prob?
I did manage to rig it for now but who knows how long it's gunna last. I do have pics but I don't see an add pic section here anymore
It's just like the retro shark tip performance exhaust on Scrappydogscooters except mine is about 4" longer for 150cc

I just had a series of unfortunate events lol. Yeah my starter went out 1 day then next day my belt Disintegrated not sure why either. But I do have a ?.
The belt I had on there originally was a 842 20 30. But I'm running an older belt & it's a 835 & my bikes a 150 qmj157 long case. I noticed that the shredded belt was wider than the replacement 842. Actually it's the same width as the 835 I've got on there. Replacement is a gates power link 842. Quality belt just don't get dif in width.

Well good news is that it's nothing internal. This header pipe I've got has a mounting bracket I'm assuming it attaches to the swingarm. But mine doesn't align up enough to mount it so i left it on without cuting it off. The bracket is vibrating againg a nut making some odd noises. So I guess I'll be hackin this thing off.

Anything is possible with the right tools for the job. I personally think you'd b better off just buyin a frame or have 1 made for this motor. A 394 on a 50 frame could prob be done but that's a lot of motor plus it's not lite. I wouldn't do it

Ok, since this falls into what work I've done so far I fig I'd just keep it under this post. So now the goods or bads?
Yesterday I was riding & with new exhaust on its a bit louder but I noticed when I took off real slow there was this sorta grinding catching feeling coming from the rear but only @ very slow speed. Then it goes away & don't hear or feel it on the dwn shift. Gunna take it apart 2m. It runs fine tho just this feel & noise. Anyone experience this?

Actually it's great all around. Take off is quick & I can cruise with traffic and what I was mostly lookin 4 was the acceleration in the mid area. Before it really wasn't there but now it's very responsive. Got a bit of backfiring going on since the exhaust install but I'm lovin it.

Got all my work done for now & must say I'm pleased with these results. With springs & sliders exhaust it's like a whole new bike. Next step is paint & body mod.

My intake is custom & sticks out the rear side about 2in or so. Nothin like tryin to start a bike with water filled intake. Lesson learned, so now I've got this "rain coat" for my filter.

Got 14g sliders in with red springs clutch spring. Rides amazing. Installing performance exhaust 2m. Now am I going to have to re-jet carb?

What in your opinion would you expect after installing red clutch springs 2k (red) torque spring & 14g sliders? Only other mod is filter is on the carb & I weight around 130
