Werner Von Braun was pretty macho. " 'Once the rockets go up, who cares where they come down? That's not my department.' says Werner Von Braun."

Ok, piston, we had different definitions of slow vs fast passing.
"Fast" is what those semis do that tossed even my old wagon a bit.
"Slow" is passing a little faster than my speed and not tossing my car like a soda cup.
"Irritating git" is lallygagging and not passing but sitting off my dogleg like a bleeding stupidhead hoping you're in my blind spot so I'll change lanes and hit you. Or something similar. Or just plain stupidness. But those gits are more irritating during the day, 'cause at least at night you can see by their headlights that they're driving stupid.

... One thing that freaks me out a bit is when people SLOWLY pass you and are only a couple feet from you. I'd think slowly would be way better than passing FAST and close! As for painting curbs, why not just paint the worst ones on your usual route? Or at least call whoever runs street maintenance and ask nice for them to fix it. Esp Leo's curb that has caused numerous accidents. We had road work up the street, and they didn't fix the hole correctly (left a ditch around the large patch). I called about it, explained that I could feel the "ditch" in my car and feared what could happen once I started driving my scooter. Guy apologized and said it would be fixed. Next day, it already was! Yes, I called and thanked him right away--gratitude goes a long way in getting these things accomplished next time. >'Kat

'bender, I've been to the Fork & Screen before--upright cushy chairs, a "table" to eat your food at. Never been to Recliner-land before. Man I could get used to movie-going like that!

Just saw Incredibles 2. What can I say, except INCREDIBLE!!! Totally worth the theatre! Great fun! Going to go buy the soundtrack album (if only for the three theme songs!)!! And I've also got to say, the best way of all to see a movie is in AMC's wine'n'dine (or I believe more unimaginatively named "Cinema Suites"). You have a Lazy-Boy recliner, a swing out tray for the food you order and enjoy while watching the movie. Waiters who bring out your food/drinks even during the movie (and fairly unobtrusively, then) HOT DANG that is the way to thoroughly enjoy all aspects of a movie! Just don't recline the Lazy-Boy too far or you might risk dozing off .... >'Kat

Just to play devil's advocate and I haven't clicked on the links, but IS Harley going to India or China? Or could they really be going to the EU?

... First, H/D rushes into production of their 500cc and 750cc V-Twins to counter the successful, track-inspired Indian Scout and Scout Sixty... Good move! Then H/Dcalls them "LEARNER BIKES". Any of you boyz n' gurlz out there wanna ride a Harley they call a LEARNER BIKE? Yeah, I didn't think so... ... Ride safe,Leo I'd ride a Harley called a Learner Bike, but not a 500 or 750. That's not Learner that's getting Big Dog! >'Kat
