Probably too late to catch this in theatres, but if you're a fan at all of the space program then see First Man. The family stuff is really slow-paced, but that might've been on purpose to emphasise the space stuff and make it even more exciting.
I will admit, I am quite possibly the biggest Neil Armstrong/moon landing geek there can be. After all, he gave me the moon for my b'day (which I nicely shared with the rest of the world). But there were shots covered that I had never thought about--all the rattles and groans when that big missile took off, for one. Esp what they must've felt when they first opened the door, up there on the moon. Never ever considered that stuff.

I'm going with Rio Bravo only because Angie Dickinson was in it. Yeah, but Maureen O'Hara was in Rio Grande. And since Ricky Nelson costarred in Rio Bravo, I'm going with Rio Grande. Besides that Grande is machoier than Bravo. 'Cause it's grander, you know.

UncaLeo, not when dropped out of a hovering helicopter, they can't.
"They're hitting the ground like sacks of wet cement."
Oh heavens, that really was one of the funniest eps ever shown on tv. Just thinking about it is making me smile and even chuckle. I think I'll take along my dvd's to Thanksgiving dinner since my entire family will be there this year, and we can watch that ep if nothing else. That and the tofu turkey ep of Everybody Loves Raymond should be mandatory Thanksgiving viewing.

All I remember is the guy after Venus was named Moss. And seems like there was somebody in the afternoons, Dreamy-something? Or Dreamboat? Something to do with dreaminess. And I know there was a pretty regular guy who followed Johnny but I don't remember anything else about him, not even the hint of a name.
