Here's another reason for Harley--they made a scooter.
Oh, wait, maybe that's NOT a reason for being more macho....

('gull, you put what I went through in perspective. I just have a root canal, followed by opening the front to remove the remaining infection and the root's tip. Once the stitches are dissolved/removed, then things should get better much faster. Nowhere near 6 months of this! Your poor daughter!!)

rules obeyed (albeit grudgingly....)
(esp 'cause it's made eating very difficult. I have to be careful what I try. Like toasting my sandwiches is currently out 'cause then it's crispy which threatens scraping the stitches. This even includes pizza unless I cut it into smaller bites. Sigh.)

said orthodontist
(but as far as I'm concerned, no, not well. I want the stitches out. I want to use a straw. I want to brush vigorously. I want it healed and done with.)

'bender--the theatre we went to was showing CM about every half-hour or so. Seriously. Must've been on half their screens.
And funny dog story--we had a customer with a service dog who kept jerking his head looking behind. Finally dawned on me he was hearing the Sony Picture Station's little whoosh-whistle as that customer scrolled through the screens showing all the photos available to print. It sounded like a come-here whistle. I'll give the dog credit, he did not break. But he did look over there every single time.

Meanwhile, Captain Marvel is pretty standard Marvel fare. Not their best, not their worst. Good action film with cheeky attitude. Oh, and SLJ gushing over a kitty. Probably doesn't require the big screen. Probably isn't even really needed before the next Avengers. But fun.
BUT GO SEE APOLLO FIRST!!!!!!!!!!!!! THAT **IS** required viewing on the biggest screen you can see it on. Go. Now. Right now. We'll wait on pizza 'til y'alles get back home. Just GO!

'bender, it's all footage. They waded through hundreds of thousands of hours of film taken from that week. And no talking heads. Just the actual audio as recorded, too. Plus background music.
You KNOW what happens, and yet it's just gripping.
If this doesn't win best doc in every possible movie awards thing, then something's fixed with the voting.

Apollo 11.
Go see it. Now. As in this week. Before it goes away from theatres. See it. Right now. Go.
Trust me on this. Don't wait for Netflix, or dvd, or anything tv-sized for this one. Go to IMAX if you can. But see it.
Oh, and be sure to check your own heart rate.
