How long are you going to store the parts? Any rust they see as long as the aren't buried in the dirt/mud will be superficial and should clean up in about a minute and would be unlikely to harm anything. Seems like a waste of time and effort unless you plan to store it all for a quarter of a century. Even then if they are still in the original box I doubt they would see much harm you'd be surprised how fast things rust in south florida.

ebay but they are for dirt bikes and atvs is it possible to EASILY modify a scooter to use a dirt bike shock? or does someone manufacture scooter shocks that are as soft as a dirt bike? the shocks on those machines are extremely comfortable to ride.

really? you took the cover off? i don't think those stock blinkers looked bad. you should have seen the turn signals on my 1985 honda spree. they stuck out far enough to be used as a crash bar. lol

yesterday a bug hit me in my neck at about 40 mph. stung a little and that was just a tiny bug... what if a truck kicks up a rock aimed at my neck? that would be bad, no? between bugs, unforeseen rocks and Leo's story of the bird... i think i'll be getting a windshield.

Why is she wearing white heels with an all-black outfit? Very tacky, very bad fashion. Btb, she is wearing hose. Does that count for leg protection?... >'Kat she practically has her legs flying in the air and that is the only thing you notice as tacky. oh well, can't please everyone. still a gr8 looking scoot all the way around regardless of those pumps.

Me personally, won't go without trouses, and long sleeves, gloves, and goggles on a scooter. Those are my minimum requirements; without them, I might as well go naked on a scooter! well lucky for us she isn't naked... otherwise i wouldn't have been able to post.

This will take me a little time to convert these images and such and your patience is appreciated. JR no problem, as long as you don't purposely give a dime to facebook i will wait forever. smiley's are gr8 but not if you're stuck buying them from mega-corporations.

The caliper is secure with new bolts, lock washers and red Loctite, since I don't seem to have any blue laying around. isn't red loctite a permanent bond? hope you don't need to get that apart anytime soon. i know from experience the pain of waiting on parts so you can ride. at least you found the parts and got it back together.

I already installed it, and had overheat problems because of a lean mix. So I took it out and put the original back in my scooter is a 2012 with 750 miles on it. I dont want to ruin it,just improve it ;D i can't answer from experience but from all the reading i have done it seems like this is the biggest problem with BBK's. if you can install the right jet then i would assume you would be fine. everyone says adjusting your carb is easy. nothing to it. childs play... but they have been working with carbs for years, perhaps decades. i wouldn't trust myself to tune it properly so EFI will be my solution in the future.

Sorry to say but all those plug pics are way too rich! Doesnt even look like he used a new plug for a chop,,see all the carbon hanging off all of them... just another reason i want my next scoot to be EFI.
