All the reviews I read about crappy dogs are really bad. I wouldn't buy a flange nut from them. I guess the name says it all dogs!! Scrappy sounds like the bottom of the garbage barrel and dogs is self explanatory haha. I almost purchased from them till I saw the reviews and their ridiculous prices. Anybody know where I can get a high torque starter for my little harley 50cc 1p39qmb?

Thanks for the advice. I'll use the rollers that came with my variator set. I bought a cheap one till the end of the month when my other kit comes in.nice pics you have me convinced! Dr. Pully is kind of expensive for my budget right now but in the near future I will get a Dr. Pully variator. I'm juse experimenting right now to see what weight is best. I bought nuts and washers for my new cylinder studs and they all stripped out!! Thank God it was just the nuts when I torqued them. That was the gy6 store! Nice stuff!! I totally freaked out thinking it was my block that stripped out, but new nuts at the hardware store down the street and I'm good to go. Just waiting for a few tools and parts and the scoot will be flying!!! I have 2 carbs set up for a quick change if it needs more gas. Can't wait to test it out.

Can I put slider weights in my variator. Or is there a different type of variator to use sliders?

Finally cut the nut off didn't do too much damage just have to chase the threads. Now that I got all my variator parts I can't collapse the clutch spring to get my belt on. Holy crap it's just one thing after another. FYI the metric nut is 12mm x 1.25 and that will fit incase somebody needs one. Bustted the fan up getting the nut off the variator. That thing must have been torqued to 100lbs. Now I have to wait till thurs when I get some cash to get the 12mm x 1.25 die to chase the threads and order a fan nice!! The good thing is I learnt more and it's all fixable!! Cool beans!! Problem solved!

Yeah I got it!! If I could get the nut off the variator. This thing seems like its welded on I cut the crap out of it with a nut breaker and it still won't budge. I shudder to see the threads on the crank under this nut. What a nightmare this nut is. I can't believe this thing is on as tight as it is. Inconceivable!!!

I am cutting the nut off I tried everything. Thats the last resort I was hoping I didn't have to do, but oh well happens!! Thats exactly what I'm doing is learning with the cheap stuff before I get Naraku parts for it! Good call on both replies. My dining room is a mess the scooter is almost completely apart. I'm waiting for my brother in law to go to the shop and press my new final gear in open the holes on the clutch a bit bigger for more air flow. Last but not least finding a socket big enough to take the 38mm nut off the clutch. Just waiting on parts too. Can't wait to play some more I'm having a blast doing this stuff. Seems like a good way to make some cash on the side too!!!

This turned into a nightmare from !! I finally got my final gear off. The videos I watched must have been a 150cc mine is behind the brakes, but I did it ma! lol i cant get my variator nut off this must be on there at 100ftlbs it won't budge. My last resort is some heat on it. This I really don't want to do, but I don't think there are any other options! You have any thoughts on this it's a right hand thread correct? I hope I'm not trying to tighten a left hand thread? Any imput would be helpful.....
