They're not expensive. That sounds I had to buy another variator because the nice one I ordered won't arrive till the end of the month but it has 5, 7, and 9g rollers in the kit. They say a complete kit but no torque spring so I had to buy that too. Thanks for the links I bought tools from harbor. I needed spanner wrenches and a torque wrench.Nice site I hope the tools are ok. I'm hoping my studs come quickly so I can put my motor back together. The cvt should be quick. Thanks for all the info I really appreciate it. Love knowledge and it saves me frustration doing things 4 or 5 times. If I do well I might do this on the side to make some extra money. I need the bucks.

I wanted to know if 7g weights were a good choice to start with the 15k springs and my weight of 215? You know much more than I but I haven't pulled the stock rollers out yet either and actually they're not too shabby on all three plains of start mids and top speed!! But of course I want the best for the top equation.

When I'm done with the bs from the torque wrench and get to my cvt I weigh 215 I'm useing 1500rpm springs I figured I would use 7g rollers does that sound about right to get all around performance. I don't want to loose my top speed! Let me know your thoughts please. This I don't know much about yet.lol I'll get it I just don't want to take that case off 4 or 5 times to get it right.

Thanks for all your help and the links. I found the new clip and installed it I somehow got them mixed them up. Probably because keep everything in a big mess but I always know where everything is. I think it popped out of my pliers and I grabbed a old one by mistake. You only need a stubby screwdriver to pop these babies in just hold the bend in the slot on the piston where it goes ans carefully push upper left side down and it will pop right in place and you can spin it with the screwdriver if it's off a little. Cool beans!! I don't know how you do it but I thought I would share just in case. I'm going on harbor freight and buying calipers now. Have a great day and God Bless say a prayer for my best friend Bob he just had a stroke and he's in the hospital he didn't sound too good when I talked with him. So if you could lift him up in prayer I will appreciate it much!!

I meant to ask you about the final gear set. Does the gear with the shaft get pressed into the flat gear in the set? I was confused when I saw the video. I need every little detail. I have a bit of a learning disability. I hope I'm explaining correctly.

I don't have a am small 6" vernia any more mine broke at my last welding job haven't had any need to replace then till now. I can't buy a set till next month. I appreciate that though I'm gonna take you up on that. I found a good one for now. Love your scoot!! How do you do raceing it or doing 1/4 mi runs I'm really curious. I don't drive well enough to do those things and couldn't afford to any way I'm on disability. That dosent pay much. I'm ordering the parts for my cvt today and buying some bud to keep my sanity lol!! If I can borrow some vernias I'll text you the thickness. I changed mine it took two minutes and all better. Do you have trouble getting your clip in? If you do I have a fast way to get it. LMK God Bless!!

Thats a beautiful bike I love it. Is that a taotao? My scoot is all apart to square 1, but I discovered my clip retainer for the wristpin was junk I figured to check it for some reason and the temper was gone from the spring steel. I bent it with my finger. And by the way I figured out how to get that clip in the piston in 2 minutes. That saved soooo much agrivation!! Your scoot looks awesome and very well cared for. Love brother. I get money tomorrow from social security so I'm going to rush those studs to the house. Un fortunately I can only replace 1 stud the other studs are 171.5mm can't find them even on the link you sent. Seems like the 1p39qmb has 110,125,150.and 250cc parts in it really weird. Half of the things that go in my scoot are for a 150cc scoot. Don't ask me how but I don't have a clue. But I'm really enjoying the chats and the knowledge I'm getting. I've only owned this thing for 10 months and the last two months I've learned how to re build my motor properly and how to jet my carb and re build my cvt and change my final gear. I have memorized everything. Not to shabby for never having power between my legs before lol!!! And being a old man at 62. This is a blast for me. All I have is scoot on the brain. Maybe I'll change my user name to scootbrain lol!!!.

Why is the breather tube on the top of my valve cover running to my carb? Next to the fuel line bottom to the right of the fuel line?

Thanks for the link everything I need is there. I was just explaining for future reference that I've been in manf. Welding and mechanicing for like 25 + yrs plus I had a class A cdl for 15 yrs also I just don't know a whole lot about scoots yet I've learned a lot in a short period of time I think I can pretty much do a engine and cvt no problems except for a broken stud lol. I have owned mine for 10 months learned how to ride it I've never driven anything on two wheels with a motor my whole life. And learned how to rebuild them also in 10 mons but all spring and summer I was fishing every day. So Ive done this over the last 2 mons. I have to say fair being real about it. If I was goo I wouldn't have snapped a stud lol. All you guys are great thanks so much for the info and Im always getting chewed for the same as you with the way we speak funny that we met online!! God Bless you all!!!
