10 percent ethenol gas is not 110 octane, it's the octane listed at the pump. The ethenol replaces the mtbe to bring the octane to the desired level. When you remove the ethenol, you yet gas full of water, which is lower then even 87, it's about 70 octane, telling people you'll get mid grade gas is going to cause someone to detonate a hole through a piston

it ran fine for 40 miles, then up and quit, other cdi started it right up and it ran, I could understand it quitting after a few thousand miles, but 40? and this wasn't a cheapo no name cdi, i mean a 6 dollar cdi no big deal, but this was supposed to be high quality

three pickup coils later and I still have no ignition trigger, I have 145 ohms or close to it on all three, installed, but no output voltage, I'm going to go out with a neede file and elongate the holes, to see if I can get them closer to the timing mark

i am so tired of you that video says exactly the same thing i just did you did not even bother to read my post before jumping to discredit me i am going to report this nonsense my patients is done. I read your post, and no one jumped to discredit you or said anything negative to you, I simply answered your post explaining that it's not possible to remove the ethanol from the gas, what you end up with is not fit to run in an engine, that's not an opinion, that's science and a fact.

I'm not going to sit here and argue with you, but you are giving bad advice which is going to damage someones bike if they follow it, the ethanol cannot be removed from the gas, it replaces the MTBE as the octane booster, and without it, you don't even have gas fit for a cheap lawnmower. the only option is to find a station selling pure gas, and stick with them, there are more of them appearing as people are tired of the damage caused by corn gas. You can find ethanol free gas at most marinas, and a lot of smaller stations still carry it, I posted a link above to pure-gas.org who has maps and ratings to many of these stations and is edited by consumers. Find a good station selling it, get some 5 or ten gallon cans and some stabil, pure gas will keep for a long time with a stabilizer,

you cannot remove ethanol from gas it's not that simple, you are trying to force it into phase separation , even if you could get the gas out, now you have low octane useless gas, because the ethanol is used to raise the octane level.

This seller sold me a CDI specifically listed for my Yiben YB50-QT3 the cdi lasted 38 miles, and quit, took the bike apart on the side of the road, swapped a CDI and it started right up, I opened a case, as this was a 40 dollar CDI plus 21 bucks shipping international, the seller responded by telling me to take it to a scooter mechanic (haha) and opened a counter case against me, claiming since it lasted 40 miles, it wasn't defective, I'm glad it wasn't a tire. The ebay rep on the phone actually tried to argue it must be good if it lasted that long.
