Yeah, I don't think I'm going to rat/bob this one. Honestly the canvas here is just too nice. I'm personally a huge fan of the Euro scoot scene, so I do think I'm going to restore this one as an homage to that branch of our industry.

Also, I'm going to keep the modifications very "street". It's not going to be stock, but I'm still going to shoot for a modicum of reliability, since I think I'd really like to ride this one around a bit. Probabaly an iron 70cc kit as opposed to a crazy almunium racing setup. These LC Minarelli bikes are just too nice to not ride.

So I bought this old Malaguti the other day for a song, and I think I want to do a build on it. There's some internal discussion on how this should be done... Some say ride it ratty, and I think I might want to take it down a bit further and make it a nice ride largely using what we stock, and feature the build on FB, and the forums. Y'know, Euro Street fighter style. We see a ton of Groms, and Rucks, but I haven't seen many of the Euro T2 builds lately, and that's the stuff I really like personally. There aren't too many Malagutis out there it seems, so it's an interesting situation. What do you guys think? Keep in mind the plan is for this to actually be a street scooter when all is said and done.

After a bit of consideration (and a moment to cool off after peascreek called me) I've decided to remove this post...

I just kind of feel... sad about the whole thing now. Anyway, it is what it is.

Yes. Surprisingly Linhai USA, actually had a booth at the show. The booth was primarily focused on ATV, side by side and oddly enough full on tractors. There were a couple of scoots tucked in there though, and I wanted to get the shot.

So, here in FL, some guys have put something together called The Woodsman Cup. Basically it's racing machines through the woods that were never meant to race through the woods... Scooters, sport bikes, the like. Seeing that the drag racing thing isn't making many waves at the moment, and a couple of us here still have the itch to race scooters (and cars, and anything else that can be raced), we're going to be prepping a couple of the R&D bikes for this thing. As I have more pictures and stuff I'll post them up. Should be fun!
