While sourcing parts to fix my 2007 Jonway Roadster & my 2004 Honda Reflex I find myself with a surplus of parts that I'd like to sell to others who could use them. All prices are negotiable, & the parts I have are listed below in no particular order:
Fits Honda Reflex only: fully rebuilt carburetor w/new screws & new SE valve - asking $100 I also have a rebuilt carburetor that needs a new SE valve - asking $50
Fits both bikes: brand new, never used, black left side lower skirt, (part#64340-KPB-000ZR- skirt, L, NH237P) does have one broken tab, but fitment is not affected - asking $60
Fits both bikes: 2 tall windshields, they both need to be buffed out, one has a few light micro cracks while the other has a decal outline on it but can be cleaned off - asking $20 & $25 respectively
Fits both bikes: used black right side lower skirt, (part#64330-KPB-000ZR- skirt, R, NH237P) has a broken tab & a small break on the bottom but still fits nicely - asking $35
Fits both bikes: black luggage rack does have a broken tab but still usable - asking $25
Fits both bikes: brand new, never used, handlebar covers - (part#53250-KPB-000ZB) - asking $50
Fits both bikes: Variator weights (23x18mm) weights I have are 14grams x6 (brand new) -18grams x3-21grams x3-25grams x6 (brand new) & 31grams x3 - asking $35 for them but will sell separately
Brand new battery: only used for 5 months - asking $35
Fits Reflex only: engine cover (part#11340-KPB-000) w/gasket (part#11395-KFG-J00) - asking $75
Fits Reflex only: complete air duct & cover (part#19414-KFG-000) - asking $30
I also have my old engine, it was replaced because it had low compression. If there are any parts anyone needs off of it just let me know. I can provide pictures of anything I have just let me know what you want.
Please note that these parts will fit on either the Reflex or Jonway scooter, if interested send me a pm. Thanks.

Here is the now, finished product, notice the engine cover is back on & I bought a pair of "Honda" wing decals to help fill in the blank space. Another plus to the short windshield is that I can raise the handlebars & turn without them hitting my knees or the windshield.
I bought a Big Ruckus variator & put 147g roller weights, (31g+18g) in it. The bike has a decent takeoff & on level ground even with a headwind, I managed to get to a top speed of 74.77 mph as per a speed app on my phone. I weigh 292lbs so that was fine for me. front right view.jpg

Thanks much cyborg55,
Well I did the math, (because my wife was curious). Including my $350 purchase price, I have a total of $3630.70 invested in my newly paneled, 2004 Honda Reflex. Considering what I know now about the Reflex scooter I'm very happy with what I've learned & done with it over the past 7 months.
I put on the Honda decals & the lighter weights in the Big Ruckus variator last night & I'll put the last lower panel back on this morning, (for the last time) then I'll just enjoy riding it like I've grown used to. Once I get it all together & washed, I'll post a current picture. Thanks to all who gave me advice & sent me links to get parts, diagrams & other helpful information.

I don't know if this worked or not but these are pictures of my scooter with the tall windshield, and a couple of different angles with the short windshield. My bike was initially all red but the Jonway I had was black so I decided to mix and match the colors up, the rack is actually from a 2007 Jonway scooter. My last job will be to add the Honda wing logo on the front fascia. 0.7 MB Tall windshield.jpg 0.9 MB Short windshield front view.jpg 0.8 MB 20170923_154424.jpg

What started out as a possible parts bike turned into a real nice scooter. After I found I had to replace my oil starved engine, I decided I might as well get the bike up & running the right way. I replaced the sunbaked, brittle, front end & both lower side skirt panels. Next I added a second battery & a power outlet.
Not able to stop there, I next put on a seat extension, new tires, hoses, a Big Ruckus variator, a rack with a large trunk & finally a shorty windscreen. The 2 hardest parts of the whole project was locating the 13 yr old parts, (at a decent price) & waiting for parts to arrive from France, Japan, & the U.K. All in all, I'm very happy with the way it turned out, and like I said earlier, I basically have a brand new scooter. Now with the short windshield it actually looks like a motorcycle.

This is my bike after I finished putting all the panels back on.
I tried to add my other pictures but haven't figured out how to make them bigger or upload more than one. Anyways, as you can see from the picture I'm waiting on my windshield and the new variator, I'm also going to see if I can find a clear engine cover like I saw on another scooter recently.

Your bike looks sweet, I love them in red, yellow and the candy blue. Most of my parts came in, (replacement lower left skirt, new screw & body tabs) everything except the shorty windshield. I'm dedicating this weekend to taking it apart one last time cleaning up the engine, (because I rode down a gravel rode on Monday). I'll take some before teardown, during & after pictures, I'll definitely get a good shot of my dual battery setup for you as well. I added the tail piece from a 2007 Jonway so I could mount my case. I'm still experimenting with my variator weights, I currently have 138g, (25+21) & on my ride Monday I could only get up to 64mph. I was riding with a friend who was on his motorcycle & I couldn't pass any cars, then I noticed that my temperature gauge stayed at the high end, definitely time for a thorough check.

Akais, When I get all my parts and put it back together I'll be sure to post a few pictures. I must say that adding the 2nd battery was probably the best mod I've done so far. I'm definitely going to add the radio I wanted next now that I know I have the battery capacity to run it with no problem. I added a large trunk and have plenty of room for my tools and helmet now.

Akais, I got the scooter back together today, I made sure that I used the right screws and took my time during reassembly. Now, after looking at my shiny and pretty new front end with the old glazed and faded windshield I think I'm going to go ahead and order the short screen from Japan.
While I'm at it I now need to buy a new fuel sending unit. I cleaned out my gas tank because it was full of rust and other junk and today while on my test ride I found that my gas gauge no longer worked. I took a chance and left the sender in the tank while I cleaned it, and I guess the environmentally safe solvent wasn't good for the sender.
UPDATE: I filled up with gas & let it sit overnight with the intention of removing the panels & checking the connection on Sunday. I started it up letting it idle & the gas gauge moved to half full, then eventually to full. I guess sitting in gas overnight was enough to clean off the contacts. That's $14 I saved for a replacement part.

Yeah I have been looking on eBay as well with no luck. I have my old windshield from the Jonway which fits but both of mine have the micro cracks in them and the one on my Honda has the prior owner's club name and logo burned into it, "Mrs. Gin" with a wine glass and olives. I haven't ordered the short one yet, but I found a smoked one from a Japanese company called webike.
The screen costs $41 and shipping costs $25, they say on their website that shipping takes around 7-10 days but others I've talked to say that parts from Japan can take up to 4-6 weeks depending on how big an order you make. I looked at the Givi shorty one but I just couldn't wrap my mind around spending $125+ for a short windshield when I have a spare tall one I can cut down to see if I like the look or not, plus I only paid $45 shipped for a new tall one that I sold with the Jonway.
Once I get the body panels back on I'll measure and cut one of my tall windshields down and decide from there if I want to get the short one from Japan. I'll keep you posted.

Akais, I bought my Reflex from a couple who left it on their back porch with the seat off for about a year in the blazing sun. I didn't know how bad my front end was until I decided I was going to put on a shorter windshield. When I removed the cover holding the windshield on, the body panel started shaking like jello. No lie, I touched the bottom to stop it from moving and the darn thing broke into small pieces. No amount of plastic cement would have fixed it without being seen. Plus I didn't have all the little pieces to glue back on. The good news in all of this is that my front end part arrived today and the paint matches perfectly. I just have to swap over my metal tabs and put on the new pieces. I am totally happy with my new parts. Maxtera, If your body part is broken where it does not show, it can be easily glued back together. Use this: All painted scooter Tupperware is made from ABS plastic. This cement will make the break actually stronger then the original plastic. You may want to experiment with it on your old part so you will then have a spare.

I did a ride with some friends 2 weeks ago & on my way home my scooter started overheating & eventually my radiator hose burst. In order to get to the hose I had to remove all the body panels. With all the panels off I noticed that my fuel filter was full of junk so I decided to remove & clean the tank, off comes more panels. Long story short I removed my windshield and noticed that my front fairing was cracked & ready to come apart.
Frustrated I decided I wanted to replace all my broken or cracked parts so I began to look online for a complete body kit. I was about to pull the trigger on a 9 piece Forza MF06 body kit package direct from Webike in Japan, (costing $545 with shipping) it would have taken 4 to 6 weeks to deliver. I checked eBay & they have a 10 piece kit listed but it's for the Forza MF08 which is the wrong bike altogether.
Then I decided to check Partzilla.com, I've made one or two small purchases from them in the past & decided to see if they would have the parts I needed.
Not only did they have all the parts I wanted to replace but they're already painted in my body color. I bought a new front end in (Italian red) & the 2 lower side skirts in (Pure black) for a total of $410.30 with free shipping. I have a few other parts I plan on buying but I'm so glad that I don't have to depend on eBay or my crappy Honda dealer here for parts anymore.
What's cool about Partzilla is that for $575 dollars I can buy a body kit from any year Reflex from 2003 - 2008 & have a different color to switch to. My current color is red but I ordered the lower panels in black and I may get the full yellow kit as well. I can't wait until my parts arrive.

My 07 Jonway had a much faster takeoff than my 04 Reflex, & since I no longer own the Jonway I couldn't check the variator weights. And having spent many hundreds just to get the Reflex back on the road I didn't want to spend more on the k-mod. Research told me that the Reflex came stock with 31g & 21g weights totaling 156g.
I ordered a set of 18g from eBay and begin to test them out. With my stock setup I started out slow but the scooter would top out at roughly 80mph as verified by my Garmin. Next I tried 31g & 18g totaling 147g, the scooter started out faster but my top end was roughly 64.84mph and my rpm's were in the red @ 8k.
Next I tried 21g & 21g totaling 126g, it started out faster & my top end was 68.62mph & my rpm's were at a constant 7k. This is the setup I'm going to stick with for awhile. My son and I have a ride planned in 2 weeks and I'll get some real world results from that ride.
ps: Just wanted to add, I'm 6'4, and weigh 295lbs. I rode the scooter on a one mile stretch of road with a slight hill. I'm sure that it could hit 70+ with this setup and I'm hoping to find out on the road trip.
