I did a ride with some friends 2 weeks ago & on my way home my scooter started overheating & eventually my radiator hose burst. In order to get to the hose I had to remove all the body panels. With all the panels off I noticed that my fuel filter was full of junk so I decided to remove & clean the tank, off comes more panels. Long story short I removed my windshield and noticed that my front fairing was cracked & ready to come apart.
Frustrated I decided I wanted to replace all my broken or cracked parts so I began to look online for a complete body kit. I was about to pull the trigger on a 9 piece Forza MF06 body kit package direct from Webike in Japan, (costing $545 with shipping) it would have taken 4 to 6 weeks to deliver. I checked eBay & they have a 10 piece kit listed but it's for the Forza MF08 which is the wrong bike altogether.
Then I decided to check Partzilla.com, I've made one or two small purchases from them in the past & decided to see if they would have the parts I needed.
Not only did they have all the parts I wanted to replace but they're already painted in my body color. I bought a new front end in (Italian red) & the 2 lower side skirts in (Pure black) for a total of $410.30 with free shipping. I have a few other parts I plan on buying but I'm so glad that I don't have to depend on eBay or my crappy Honda dealer here for parts anymore.
What's cool about Partzilla is that for $575 dollars I can buy a body kit from any year Reflex from 2003 - 2008 & have a different color to switch to. My current color is red but I ordered the lower panels in black and I may get the full yellow kit as well. I can't wait until my parts arrive.

Great! The only thing with partszilla is the shipping time that seems to take forever. (I hope your luck is better.)

Partzilla is the best! I have ordered parts there several times and since they do not keep every part in stock, it may take 3 or 4 days for them to get the part in and then ship. I just bought a leg shield, side cover and lower cover for my daughter's Vino when she had a unintentional get-off in the rain. She was Ok but the Tupperware wasn't. $220 covered what would have been well over $500 at the dealer. Bike Bandit is also another source of parts that I have found but so far nobody has beat Partzilla for price and convenience. I look all the time at parts prices on EBay and most of the time, because the EBay seller is looking at dealer pricing, I find you can buy new from Partzilla cheaper. Why pay more for something somebody pulled off a wreck when you can get brand new genuine OEM cheaper!

Maxtera, If your body part is broken where it does not show, it can be easily glued back together. Use this: All painted scooter Tupperware is made from ABS plastic. This cement will make the break actually stronger then the original plastic. You may want to experiment with it on your old part so you will then have a spare.

All painted scooter Tupperware is made from ABS plastic. are you sure about that? i owned 2 scooters and one of them was constructed from an entirely different plastic than the other. the plastic panels on my 250 was certainly styrene. it broke too easily, especially the mounting tabs.

All of my scooters were all styrene (the 'S' in ABS) for the painted parts and polyethylene for the softer black or grey non-painted parts. That was true for 2 Chinese scooters, 3 Honda scooters (including a '83 and a ' Aero), and 3 Yamaha scooters. The only other thing I have seen scooter bodies made from is steel. Now the quality and thickness of the plastic varied quite a bit depending on the manufacturer but they were all styrene and that cement should work.

I never knew what the phrase "it breaks if you look at it wrong" meant until I got a Chinese scooter and realized they were referring to the plastic body panels. The Japanese scooters are not great in that respect either but the Chinese take it to a whole new level! 100% on the zip ties. I always carry several different sizes.

Akais, I bought my Reflex from a couple who left it on their back porch with the seat off for about a year in the blazing sun. I didn't know how bad my front end was until I decided I was going to put on a shorter windshield. When I removed the cover holding the windshield on, the body panel started shaking like jello. No lie, I touched the bottom to stop it from moving and the darn thing broke into small pieces. No amount of plastic cement would have fixed it without being seen. Plus I didn't have all the little pieces to glue back on. The good news in all of this is that my front end part arrived today and the paint matches perfectly. I just have to swap over my metal tabs and put on the new pieces. I am totally happy with my new parts. Maxtera, That's a shame about leaving it in the sun. A cheap plastic tarp would have saved it. I was given a '83 Honda Aero that spent 20 years under a tarp in someone's back yard in Florida. Other than it being faded, the plastic was in good shape. I sanded and painted it and got it to look great. The sun will really make that plastic brittle. I am glad you were able to get new for a good price. So what kind of shorter windshield do you have? Mine is a sport model so it came with the shorter windshield. I got a Givi shield to put on it in the winter. My stock shield is has some microcracks starting so I was kinda looking for another one. They don't seem to show up on EBay that often and they are a little high at Partzilla. Just wondering what you came up with.

Yeah I have been looking on eBay as well with no luck. I have my old windshield from the Jonway which fits but both of mine have the micro cracks in them and the one on my Honda has the prior owner's club name and logo burned into it, "Mrs. Gin" with a wine glass and olives. I haven't ordered the short one yet, but I found a smoked one from a Japanese company called webike.
The screen costs $41 and shipping costs $25, they say on their website that shipping takes around 7-10 days but others I've talked to say that parts from Japan can take up to 4-6 weeks depending on how big an order you make. I looked at the Givi shorty one but I just couldn't wrap my mind around spending $125+ for a short windshield when I have a spare tall one I can cut down to see if I like the look or not, plus I only paid $45 shipped for a new tall one that I sold with the Jonway.
Once I get the body panels back on I'll measure and cut one of my tall windshields down and decide from there if I want to get the short one from Japan. I'll keep you posted.

Maxtera, Webike! is a website where Japanese manufacturers can advertise their merchandise. The shipping times will vary depending on that vendor. I bought a JDM sidestand for the Aero and it was in my hand within 5 working days. I have seen that short tinted windshield on their site. Maybe if my shield gets worse, l'll pull the trigger and order one. If I find a deal on a standard shield, I may try to cut one of them down too. I found that you can get the clear vinyl edging from the auto parts store. I don't think there is a difference between the low and standard shield other how long they are.

part of mine was broken under the headlight panel before I got it, but the only thing broken by me, is when some waste of oxygen hid a brick at the entrance of my driveway and the scooter landed on top of me , the mounting tabs are still attached,so I have to try the glue trick
