I put the 26mm back for now starts with one push of the button, now to decide if its worth the trouble to jet and tune the bigger carb

Compression is around 230 got it started but it is rich with 40 pilot and 30mm carb, rewired the starter motor with thicker wire did the trick. It bogs out will get it all sorted the compression will drop after break in. All new motor parts everything is tight. Scooter elements do you sell the decompression tube?

I have a 230cca battery taida starter clutch and a knock off high torque starter motor. I'm using the stock wires off the starter motor since the plug was different. I'm going to rewire the starter wires if that don't work I'll get the taida starter motor. My kick start was broke from the factory so that's not an option at this time either.

Turns over freely by hand with plug out and when I push the button with plug out. It struggled some before the stroker the starter wires get hot should of rewired it long ago.

Got it all back together, not starting at this time it won't turn over more than half a turn with the added compression. I'll have to redo all the starter wires with heavier gauge wire maybe upgrade to a taida starter motor already have the taida starter clutch. probably doesn't help that its 3 degrees outside i'll get all the pics up and a video after i get it started.

Right that was with a Buford big valve head. your ebay head won't have near the compression that the buford head had so it may work, you can try it if you don't mind taking it apart if it doesn't work.

It will work with one gasket but the compression will be too high would be hard to start and your crank won't last long. You can get an extra gasket anywhere eBay, scrappys, partsforscooters. I did it with one gasket and compression was 240 psi the starter wouldn't crank it and I busted my cvt case kick starting it. When it started it was a beast but not worth it you'd have to Jump it off a car anytime you shut it off.

Haven't tested my new set up will be finished tomorrow. I could do 64 GPS without the stroker with awesome acceleration. I ran it with a 26mm carb. I hope to cruise at 60 GPS at 3/4 throttle after the stroker. It did 72 on Speedo before the crank which was 64 gps

I just put a stroker on mine also and a bigger carb 61mm piston with a 61mm stroker for 177cc I may go with a taller set also if my rpms go up too high but I like the torque response from the 15 37 set

My stock gears were 13 40 I switched to 15 37 and gained around 6 mph and dropped my rpms down 500 rpms.
