One of the stops must have bent enough to let it slide by. Maybe tighten everything up and examine and defects in what would make the stand go that far forward. Probably an easy fix. I am TOTALLY new to the scoot scene but I am guessing you might sit in it a lot when the center stand is down? That would make me think thats how it ended up so far extended.

Well after having to charge my battery 2 different times, it dies again today at home on my lunch break. Getting a new battery this weekend for sure. Still looking into doing a 11 pole stator. I hate the headlights and will want something better and I also want to put some led accent lights under the scoot with a switch for night time.

Looks to me its hyper-extended. Mine is way more vertical.

Spandi I think you might be right about that. For the life of me I couldn't see how it could get it out with out removing the quarter panels. Ill take some pics and try to figure out what brake light I have so I can replace it with LED and take it apart all at once.

I wouldn't mind upgrading those parts. I bought the scooter to just commute 2 miles down the road for work. But its slowly turning into an obsession. =) Ill start with the battery as I honestly think its the original that came with the scoot. Is there a tech page for the 11 pole? And where do you guys like to get your parts like that? Ive found Scrappy Dog Scooters online. I am only 2 hours away from them so I could even take a drive and get some parts.

So I have a '11 Sunny 150 scoot. The headlights suck on it. So far I have figured out they are AC (on with the motor and not key). I also think my battery is bad because even after a long ride it will end up dying and ill have to kick start it. From what I can tell its the '11 battery so I get a new one. But I am wondering if the charging system might need to be replaced also? The headlights dim and get brighter with the motor rpm. And with my newly acquired scooter knowledge, it makes me think because the headlights change brightness with the RPM it might not be charging well enough..?
I will be installing LED accent lights with a switch for night riding also but would really like to get better headlights figured out.

No ideas? I don't think I should have to take all the plastics off just to get the brake light out.

Hi all. Long time lurker first time poster. I bought my first scoot last week. 2011 Sunny 150. I'm having a blast with it and wanted to mod a few things. I had two marker lights up front that I changed to LED. And I wanted to try to change the brake bulb also but I cannot figure how to get it out. Other than taking all the rear plastics off, I took all the screws and bolts I could see to pull the housing off or at least get the cover off to remove the bulbs.
Anyone have a tip? I read through 15 pages of the "tips and tricks" section.
Thanks!
