Both kymco and sym used to be honda before they split up,,,and all the small bore Hondas (i.e. Cb175's ect ) were made by sym ,,,the vaunted Vespa brand uses Taiwanese made mills,,,with the quality wars going on in Taiwan the quality is over the top,,,l wouldn't hesitate to buy a sym or kymco,,,the only thing that would hold me back from buying a sym is parts acquisition

Yep,,, I will add this tho,,, Rich Carman had a sym and loved it,,, parts acquisition was a bit of a chore,,,, if you get the sym I'll search thru my notes for Cams website,,, sorry I only remember Cam not his parts company's name,,, it's the only place to get sym parts,,, every part for every model

It's that panache thing all over again and again,,,why would anyone pay. $5000+ for a Vespa or basically north of $11,000 for the big burg when a gently used Yamaha fz6 with very low miles can be had for well under $4000 on CL,,, and the fz would kill the others stone cold dead,,,,and any Harley also except the vrod in a drag,,,once in the twisties the fz would kill the vrod too
