I'd loosen up all the mounting(clamp blots and steering stem bolt and massage things around with a rubber or medium heavy dead blow hammer and tighten everything up,,,that should do the trick

I'll go the other way thank you very much,,,I wouldn't take a penthouse in Manhattan for free if I had to live in it,,,(yes I'd take it for free if I could sell it after all I'm not THAT STUPID),,,I moved into a rural area on purpose,,,,I live on a 3 mile dead end road and my driveway is a 1/4 mile long,,,,my neighbors are avocado and orange trees and horses,,,they don't complain much

I think tortuga is on to something with the ground / electrical problem,,,could be a bad ground or wire or even a connector plug that was either put together incorrectly and not seated all the way or one of the pins got pushed out of its seat in the plastic ,,,this situation showed up more than once,,,pull the plastic get it up and running on the center stand and move wires around with your hand,,I think you'll discover the problem
