I've got that camera. It takes pretty good videos and still shots. But, I mounted mine to my mirror stalk, and the vibration makes the videos so shaky they aren't worth the effort. I have fashioned a velcro attachment to put it on my helmet, but haven't taken any vids with it yet. The helmet mount that comes with the camera is made for a bicycle helmet, with the strap on the mount designed to loop through the air slots on a bike helmet.

I don't ride in the rain if I can avoid it. And for sure not in ice and snow. And, my fingers get numb if it's too cold, so I try not to ride when the temps dip down below the mid thirties.
I like to ride for the fun of it, and if the weather makes it not fun, then it's not fun to ride.

40's sounds pretty good I rode in this morning it was 9 degrees when I left. I was warm still when I arrived at work 20 miles later Holy Cow! 9 degrees should be against the law! What kind of gloves do you wear? My cold weather downfall is numb fingers.

It looks like a cold weekend in the Atlanta area. A little too cold for a scooter ride. Highs are in the low 40's both Saturday and Sunday.

My scooter was purchased as a commuter to save money on gas. That's how I justified it to my wife, who was concerned about me riding on 2 wheels. But, when the weekends come round, I'm off on an adventure either with on an organized group ride, or just going solo to wherever the front wheel winds up pointing. It makes me sad when the weather is bad, and I have to drive the car to work.

I got an Emerson Action Cam at Big Lots on sale for $40. It came with a helmet mount, and a handlebar mount. The helmet mount was designed for a bicycle helmet, with a mounting strap that would loop though the air vents on the helmet.
I mounted it with the handlebar mount to my mirror stalk, since I don't have any handlebar real estate on my scooter. There was so much engine and road vibration that the videos were unwatchable.
So, I put some velcro on the bicycle helmet mount, and on the top of my helmet. I haven't tried it out yet, but it should work OK. I think I will tie a cord to the camera and loop it through the D rings on the helmet chin strap, just in case the wind blows it off.
