Have you tried spraying starter fluid into the intake?
Have you tested cylinder compression with a meter and 10mm sparkplug hole adapter?
I have tried spraying starter fluid info the intake. I have tried a compression check yet Went down to check it out and i found that my green ground wire was getting hot when I tried to start the scooter.

I have a 2012 velocity 150cc scooter that won't start. I replaced the vid, coil, sparkplug, and carb. I have spark and gas going to the carb. The spark plug is try after I turn it over a few times. I've already adjusted the valves to .004(intake) and .005( exhaust). Does any one know what I can try next?

Hi! My name's Cameron, a mid-twenties cook with a wife and newborn daughter. I'm located just outside of Asheville, NC; sorrounded by tons and tons of hills and trees. It's beautiful 😍. Anyway, I just got a hold of a new 2016 Bintelli Fury 150, loving it so far, but I'm looking forward to cracking it open and seeing how much power I can pull out of it. I'm sure this place will help me in deciding how I should proceed with my new hobby. Welcome.

OK - so, we get home from riding earlier today, pull into the driveway, shut off the scooter, go inside for a bit, come out about a half-hour later to ride again, and... The scooter started as usual, but, when throttle is applied, it does not "go" - when on center stand, rear wheel does not spin, and engine sputters and dies... CVT belt broken? Or, does it sound like something more dire? Oh - it doesn't appear that the Kymco 2 year warranty covers drive belts... One other thought - the odometer has been "flashing" since 1250 miles (it now has 1650) - I assumed that it was a maintenance thing, but maybe one of you good people know differently...no reference to such a thing in the "owner's manual"... Same thing happened to me but I was riding mine when the belt went.

Hello guys and gals, I just discovered this forum because I stumbled onto a free scooter on craigslist, and I am now knee-deep in the world of Chinese Scooters, thanks to some Google-Fu and a great post about decoding VIN (World Manufacturer info Codes) posted on this boards previous incarnation. It's a three-wheel scooter with a passenger bench seat behind the driver, and it's in some rough shape. The guy gave it away because it's been sitting under a tarp for 6 years. I'm in Florida, so you can imagine what six years in avg. 80% humidity does to metal. Luckily, the motor turns, and even starts. I have experience repairing and restoring cars and some engine repair, but this thing is literally in pieces. I got the title though, so after a lil elbow grease I figure it'll be a nice ride for my kid who needs something to get to Starbucks and back. I'm glad to have found this forum since I'm more of a car-guy, but any advice (starting with where I should post some questions about this monster) is appreciated. Thanks! Welcome

I'm having the same problem. I can get gas to the carb but the spark plug is dry when trying to start it.
