This is what I'm putting on as soon as I'm allowed back in the garage. I've decided to keep my stock CDI but go with max spark. It's a stock coil from a 2010 Honda 450, should provide what I need for my Honda 250.

Holy cow, never saw anything like it. If they're feedback is less than 99.5% I always investigate first. I would have passed this seller up. Better yet, buy a $1.00 piece from him just to leave a neg. and tell him to get bent!

JoeyBee Yuup tossed one of those 'blue racing CDI's ' in the bin also. It took me a while but I'm learning.... Most of those China performance parts will do more harm than good to your scoot. I will never buy anymore orange, or any colored china performance parts for my ride.

These orange coils are no good. I don't have a way to test to see if they put out any more volts or not but I know they don't last. A couple months ago I was left to push my 250 scooter home due to dead coil. No biggie just order another one of ebay....Why have I bought 5 of these things? It came and I installed it, off we go, with a new Performance coil!! Till last week when she started cutting out on me. checked the fuel system, installed new spark plug, still wanting to sputter. I had an old stock coil in the bin, but it would be over 25 years old. Started right up, sputtering gone, full power better than before and smoother tach reading. 2month old orange coil in the trash with the rest of them. Running strong with the stock one, I have ordered another used OEM coil to use as a spare. Though I doubt Ill need it.

Not sure about you guys but scooter riding is down from last year round here. Still seeing plenty of shifter bikes out but the small scootership seems down. Not sure why. I know a lot of people got those $600 scooters from a dealer that gouges them for repairs. Spending $700 on repair for a $600 scooter seems tough to swallow for me tho. But then so does spending 4grand on a new Honda.I've tried to help out some co-workers, given them parts and some tips to look for, but really don't want to end up as the 'scooter guy'. I helped a girl in the neighborhood once, she gave me money, it didn't seem right.

That's the problem with any universal part they don't fit exact. I had this windshield on a 50cc, was ok up to 35-40mph then it would flex. And yes, I had to bend and manipulate the mounts to get it to fit right. You get what you pay for.
