Product: 1 Pair Universal 4" Round Motorcycle Mirrors Long Stem 8mm M8 Bolt Chrome Vendor: www.ebay.com/usr/lifeassistant2014 on Ebay Price: $13.29 Picture: Delivery/Packaging:
Cardboard box and bubble wrap. Free shipping. Took 12 days to get to Florida from China. Construction:
Chrome plated "metal". Presumably steel. Quality:
Unknown. Looks good. Light weight. What makes it cool:
Long stems put the mirrors outboard a little farther than stock mirrors plus 4" mirror faces are highly adjustable and give a nice view. Both mirrors cost less than one original mirror. What makes it a bad choice:
It's probably cheap and may rust. Style better suited to a classic or vintage style bike. Had to remove windshield while installing because you have to screw the mirrors in, as opposed to the originals which were held on by bolts. Comments:
I needed at least one new mirror. I really liked my original mirrors. They were thick, matched the style of the bike, and had built in lights and signals, but they were not very adjustable, didn't stick out far enough, and did not provide an adequate rear view to this rider. Conclusion:
I had to choose a good rear view over lights and good looks. Would have been nice to find some like the originals but with bigger, better, more adjustable mirrors.
