Any issues or rubbing sounds if you push it around (the whole scooter) while just moving it. Push it up the driveway for example..... It maybe no issue at alll......
In fact, spinning the wheel backwards results in the exact same condition you have described........ JMHO
No need to open things up to see whats wrong if there is no problem....... Just sayn.

No, scrappy is not the originator, Just a parts dealer....
The manufactures decide the bodystyle names--- That is why silly english translations like Handsome Boy exist.....
Example: The VIP Future Champion.... Not a popular American term but, a translation for words that do not exist in english.... I maybe wrong but, just trying to give a relatable definition that makes sense.

With Warranty ? This indeed seems like an issue the Warranty should cover---
Granted it's just a small rubber hose but, Workmanship is NOt covered in most cases.
Labor cost of a 1$ rubber hose can escalate quickly if the issue is not found..........
Not trying to debunk your advice but, This could result in a costly repair for something very simple.... (I suspect that was the point of this thread)

May I ask what the supplier had to say via e-mail? Just my own idle curiosity.
I wish you well collector but, in the long run this maybe an issue not worth fighting for......
I expect you paid around 20$ with shipping so just use the replacement bolts and use this as a back up plug---
Then again, you should get what you ordered.......

I do not know where you live but, Here in Las Vegas, Scooters are becoming more popular than ever!!!!!!! I dare you to drive for 20 min without seeing one on the road..... Rentals, Teenagers, Low income, Enthusiasts etc..... I do agree major dealerships are gouging the heck out of folks who don't know better but, That will always happen. I was recently quoted a 35 dollar fee for a single exhaust gasket............. I'm Not going back to that shop but, other will be paying that price........... Knowledge of what you own is a good thing IMHO. The scooter shall rise again

Update--- Pulled off the carb yesterday----- I am VERY surprised!!!!! I need to figure out how to post pics but, -----Remember, This scoot has sat in a garage for at least 2 years--( around the time this forum was created and ScootDawg died) what would you expect to see in the float bowl? A nice greenish tinge or crud build up? To my pleasant surprise, Not a speck of crud... The jets are almost brand new, Float bowl and internals immaculate!!!!! The inside carb circuits are clean as could be to my surprise, Sea Foam is indeed a wonderful product!!!! A cap full with every tank of gas can do wonders IMO. No need for a can of carb cleaner or Super sonic cleaning as the internals are indeed spotless.... Pics coming ASAP... only because I could NOT beleve what I found inside!!! Even the rubber seals are in GREAT shape. A bit of WD40 is all that was needed.... I was Genuinely surprised as I expected much more work to be needed. Lesson learned--- Preventative maintenance does work Still waiting for a new battery but, I am tempted to try a start condition without one.........

Thanks for the pics!!!!!!!
IMHO, that magnet is indeed a bit too large for the use as stated by the manufacturer .......
Seems a replacement is in order as the mag should fit inside the threaded area, not float on the top of the threaded area...
Good Luck
