Not yet because I thought it was the brake caliper getting caught at first so I took that off but it still did the same thing. I'll take it off tomorrow though and check those things. Just wanted to make sure it wasn't a common easy fix problem without removing anything

Hey y'all. I have a Roma 150cc scooter and when the back wheel spins it makes a click noise from this area. Doesn't matter if the scooter isn't running. It will still make it. Is the chain going bad? Fresh oil change about 50 miles ago, around 1700 miles on the scooter. If you go faster the clicking gets more rapid so it's no just a steady click. Not sure where to start

No, it's literally just a plastic piece that covers the rear tire and the carb. everything else has a seperate cover it seems like

Not the cooling shroud, I mean this piece Also I think you're right about it being the key. Today I noticed that if I turn they key just a hair back, it'll kick up and then I can let go of they key and it'll be okay. Thankfully it's not my only transportation lol, but I will go through and waterproof everything the best I can.

Okay I'll give that a check. It's raining right now so when it's done it'll be the perfect test for that lol. Would it matter if I have that black wheel-carb cover off? You can kind of see it on in my profile pic

Hey everyone. So just like the title says, bike doesn't start when it rains, then after several hours it will work perfectly. Can't figure out what is getting wet. It'll crank normal, but will never fire up. not getting spark it seems like.
Also has an issue where sometimes when you turn the key nothing will happen. Usually when I turn the key, the fuel gauge will go to however much fuel is there, and when this happens I know the bike is "getting power". Many times though, I will turn the key and nothing will happen. Gauge doesn't move, bike won't crank nothing. Weather doesn't matter. Any ideas?
Finally almost got this scooter working well. These seem to be the last two issues. Thanks y'all

^Bingo turns out it was the valves needing to be reset. Almost no compression. Putting in an aftermarket carb and resetting all the valves this weekend hopefully this thing will be running like a champ soon

We actually wound up putting a new spark plug in and that seemed to do the trick . Now the bike idles weird though. no matter where I set the idle, it will switch from idling to high to idling just right to stalling in any order no matter where I adjust the idle. Any ideas?

Hey y'all. So my girl's 150cc Roma won't start for the most part. Sometimes it does start and run as long as it gets throttle, then it will stall and won't start again. Cleaned the spark plug, started right up, stalled, and is doing the same thing. Found a gas leak, fixed it, still no luck. Its the gy6 motor with 1400 miles on it. Any ideas?

Exactly what it says up top. Never used once I realized all I needed was the screw from the overfow. So the only thing it will need is that screw from your old carbs overflow. Bought it for $81 and some change so asking only $75. If your in the Daytona Beach Florida area I can even bring it to you

ALright i can adjust the idle but it seems its either way to much idle: 2200ish rpms. or it will be too low and stall. Gonna try adjusting the air/fuel to see if that helps at all
