But the tail light and indicators share the same ground as the running light, and all of them work fine, so how could it be the ground

So I can't my tail lights runner light to come on. Brake lights and turn indicators work throughout this whole mess, so we won't worry about that. It's a 150 gy6 Copy engine. All the tail lights wires are hooked up correctly but no running light. So I tested the running light wire and it has power where connected, so juice is flowing to that wire at the tail light. Just to make sure I I splieced the running light wire into my acc 12v ignition wire and viola the running light comes on......but then the headlight turns off. So I connected the headlight to the acc 12v wire and now both tail light running light and the headlight work. Ok good but.... With it setup like this, the lights drain my battery in 10 mins to about 7v. So that will not work. So I'm back to square one with all the wires hooked back up where the go to and tail light running light still not working eventhough there is power going to it......any ideeas?

I finally got it running! I was waiting on a new stator after spending all my money on the frame mods and gas tank. I took it for a little ride , as I still have to 're up my insurance and registration such is another $200. I have had to bust turn a blind eye to all the money going to my scooter. But I was happy the big tire didn't make it loose any mph, still bustin 52 but I get their quicker. I think it's under jetted still.....it is a 60mm bbk

love that your using a motorcycle style gas tank Thanks, I was hoping it would be to long or look out of place bcuz it's on a scoot that's so small. It's funny to look at it next to stock scoots cuz it so low, the handle bars are below my waist.

I got the hub from password jdm. It a sweet hub with 4 different bolt patterns. The wheel is a Douglas 10x8 black label with kenda 205 50 10 rubber. Hopefully it will be in running condition in about a week, can't wait! D8

Or measure the distance from hanger to mount point and take Ur exhaust to a exhaust shop and have them weld u on a tab that will reach.....couldn't be more than a few bucks
