10w 40 as recommended 10 w 30 would be fine Visc/weight isn't all about better sealing. good quality Synth. Oils will Seal as well or better than the thicker visco.dino oils. Fix Cooling Shrouding.

Valve lash can be tricky, in the sense the seats can move around. I had to adjust valves like 4 times in like two weeks. Then its been thousands where it holds the adjustment. John I don't think so. Ive never seen a Valve Seat "Move" and Not come out. If it moves its common out. And whats that saying for the Valve Job if the Seat is Moving around Finding a home? Seen some not in this application, we would just peen them back in and do a proper Valve Job. I don't see anyone taking into account the wear of that Fine Quality Rocker Assy, the Adj, side and the pad Follower, Also the Cam Itself. A Thousandth here and there and you have a few Valve Adjustments to do.

Also would changeing to a thicker oil work better for the upgrade? I forgot to mention the plastic housing around the flywheel is warped a bit Skip the Thicker oil Try a High End Synthetic Oil. Fix the Plastic Cooling Shroud

And I dont claim to know anything about exhausts...but when I put one on a stock scoot and gained 8mph top speed it worked regardless of whether or not I understand why it works. Im Glad you have such great results

I have zero mods tho. My scooter was stock. Not just trying to be contrary. You're probably correct in the vast majority of cases but I haven't even put a uni on yet. Everything is stock but the header and exhaust. I duno why my scoot was so slow stock but just the exhaust kit did wonders. I expect it to be even better when I do mod it further. Like I said I think my scoot is just an anomaly, but I'm glad such a cheap exhaust helped me out. No way I'd spend over 100 bucks for an exhaust on such a cheap bike Exactly my point on a much better or real exh. Cost is why wee won't see anything. Knowbody will pony up once they've got used to the Junk and its low price. Were getting exactly what we pay for. Junk!

Chinese?

I haven't witnessed any Vespa or other owner shunning a Chinese scoot owner. The only shunning here in the USA is usually done by some Harley Davidson owners who refuse to acknowledge an owner of any other brand as being worthy of their time. I think many here buy a Chinese scooter to get a first taste of scootering. I don't mean to say there aren't several fine Chinese makes to own not just as a first scooter, but here in the USA most people not living in a dense urban city don't buy a scooter as their main means of transportation, just as some summertime fun, especially true in the northern areas that get cold winters. You notice that also from the Poser Owners. Back in the day it was all about Two Wheels, Now if you don't have the correct Uniform of No Helmut, Black t-shirt from a HD Dealer that doesn't exist and they have never been there (HD of Cozumel) Huh No such thing. Wont give ya the time of day, Ride it four miles away to the Pub and stand around striking poses and talk about bikes.

Im installing a 100cc bbk. Will a 53mm piston ring compresser work, or do i need a tool 50mm or less? Use a stainless steel clamp (the kind you will get at Home depot). The bottom of the jug is tapered, and in theory you can just (gently) work the piston/rings up with sufficient assembly lube (I've doe so). But it's risky with the flimsy rings on these things, so better to use a clamp to compress them. Be Very Carful of this Method. Those Hose clamps are Stamped out Mfgd. They have lots of sharp edges and burrs inside thats going to get cozy with your Piston/Ring assy. Ring end gaps can also get snagged on the little slots. Pay attention so you don't Blemish that new assy. Also and this is very important Properly Wash that New Cylinder before installation

And Whats up with the Ricer Fly By? Slammed Acura, Intake this, Fart can that. Do you enjoy having your arse handed to you every time on 311? Come up with some more, you bore me. I thought u meant the farm truck always racing those types of cars. I was surprised the foreign car did as good as it did, although it still got slammed. I said it would Compliment Mods, Especially the Mods you have, and it Did. Did it do all it could do? Not Even Close. I see No R&d on any of these so called Perf, Exh. systems and you can clearly see that in the Product and the Price also Reflects the same. You can Beg to Differ all you want but you do not have a understanding of How a True Performance Exhaust Works. And I'm not going give the Zipps tips on what to do, they will have to pay me.
