I see "Daddy Dave" junked a Race car in Texas the other day. Looked like a 67 Malibu, mid 8 second car. He's lucky he didn't get hurt. get outa the rubber and losing it is easier than some may think.

The price is nice. I wonder with No Picture up the but of the fart can if its Free-Flow? Ive seen so many of a fart can inside a fart can heavily baffled and are No Better than the OE System. Buyer Beware.

Just to second what P-Guy said. I made the same mistake - bought a "performance" exhaust header. It looked nice. Chrome. Fat pipe. BUT --- only to find out when it arrived the first 6 inches was just the skinny, OEM diameter pipe that caused pretty much the same back pressure and restriction that the oem pipe caused. Couldn't tell except by looking into the pipe from the flange end. P-Guy posted some perfect pix explaining the problem in this thread: www.dansgaragetalk.com/topic/81-150cc-stock-head-pipe-woes/No matter WHAT you do to your muffler you will not overcome the restriction caused by this teensy first 6 inches of exhaust header. Right on, right on all true dat. Ive spent hours and hours shopping and looking very closely at the head pipe product, most are fake.

I ordered my bbk tonight and I am trying to find a free flowing exhaust. What do you think of a 54 dollar multi color from ebay and what would be a range of jets likely to suit me with uni, cdi, coil, bbk 72cc, and free flowing exhaust? advise you look closely at the head pipe on the system your looking at. Many are just tiny OE Head pipe plated, The free flow fart can will help, but make positive sure it a for real deal. I'n the end it is Noisy. I don't care for mine too much. post a link of the system your looking at

No need to "use them all" in fact, The one you have pictured will work just fine. A bit of gasket sealant (RTV) would also do the trick. No need for multiple seals unless you are bridging a gap for some reason. Good Luck!!!!!! But, mo beta right?

K. times ya hav to be a Butcher. I do have several seal pullers the seals are All destroyed by the time you get them out. That Puppy that you have, I have a Ground to a Point a Screw Driver, I Tap a Hole thru the Seal and Pry it out. Be Very Careful when you pry it out What you are Prying Against, slow and easy. so again your going to drive a hole right thru the Metal part of the seal and pry it out. itl pop out like a bad tooth Once out inspect the hole/bore the seal goes in for any blemishes form the removal. Good Luck.

In a couple of weeks my Jonway will reach 7,600 miles, and an oil change will be due. I was planning on doing some other PM at the same time.....change spark plug (still running the original NGK C7HSA), valve adjustment (last adjusted at 2,502 miles), and change the drive belt (at oil change, it will have 6,620 miles on it). Have decided to put off doing any of it, except the oil change. Here's why. Went out for my weekly gas fill up this AM, and was happy to see that this was the 5th consecutive tank delivering more than mpg. Last years average was .9 mpg.....17 fillups this year have averaged 89.03......but the last 10 have averaged .4 mpg. Not bad for a Chinese 150, with a carburetor, and a 210 lb rider. Starts and runs better than ever. So I'm not going to mess with anything except the oil. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" I can understand, Kinda Be nice to know were the valves are at, be good record of a tune that may be helping your mpg. Cant screw anything up by checking it. well some may Same with the plug. She sounds like she's running darn near ideal as one may get, ey?

So I rebuilt it, made my own base gasket with felpro gasket materials, seems very similar to the silver stuff but stronger. I used a new head gasket of course. Honed he cylinder, used new rings, all lined up correctly on install... Correct torque wih torque wrench I borrowed. New Studs... Noticed while installing the base gasket the bottom under the cylinder kept bending out a little bit, maybe the case is warped? All works good but now it idles high then evens out and when decelerating i hear slight grumbling. Seems there is an air leak or something now...... I am honestly done with this engine, over 40k miles it needs to be retired... I am going to focus on seeing if my spare engine with the locked piston will have enough good parts to use for a new BBK project... AT 40k miles think you got your $$$ worth?

I just got a scooter from my friend who says his cousin installed a 47mm BBK and now it's slower than when it was a stock 50cc. Everything around the engine is correctly installed; # main jet in CVK carb, idles and tuned up perfectly, foam air filter installed, stock exhaust, and no oil leaks or hard starting and has enough compression to push my thumb off the spark plug hole, and the vales are both at 0.003. Checked for leaks by spraying wd40 all over everything while running, all good. It tops out at about 50, but it stays in the low end on flats and uphill and does not go faster than 20 until going downhill. Seems like there might be blowby since I feel air coming out of the vent on the valve cover, but no sure, maybe the guy installed the rings incorrectly? Did it have a Cylinder Head installed with the BB Cylinder? You Will be able to feel Some Positive Crank Case Pressure for the Breather, Normal. What RPM is she doing on Straights? RPM on the Down Hills?
