Well pretty much My entire innards came apart. It got really hot and baked the rubber mounting straps Sorry not a great pic. This is also what I found when I dropped the Pipe, the Flange off center, Flashing and a big goober of Weld, probably 30% of the Exhaust port was closed

what do you mean out to lunch? not working properly? haha.. think its a size main jet.. not 100% sure. apologies, Yes Jetting is incorrect Listen to Jscript. He removed the Air Filter Altogether, and said run it/try it? ouch! dmn, that rear wheel is constantly tossing snit back up in the engine. One Glass Bead in a Cup Valve Train will Destroy a $50,000 engine in less than a Millisecond.

royhilldragracingschool.com/classes/pro-modified/Pro-Mod, Roys in the hood here. was a customer for awhile. a classic piece of work. Throws a great Christmas party bbq spread. I know the lights, etc, Street Legal. Since When and in What State are Slicks and Open Exhaust Street Legal? I'm guilty of watching but in the back of my mind is Wally Parks rolling in his grave as he dedicated his life to get this off the Streets.
Just a lil Mouse Motor, Whatcha scared of? I keep it on the track, But if ya call me out it will be a throw down, With my AC on and the Hitch is still on to Drag yo arse down the strip

I rode one of the Zero m/x'rs and some electric Karts at a industry function in Cali. The Linear power made ya giddy at first. But was tricky in corners maintaining corner speed. had to change up the line as to not scrub off so much speed. Depends how a individual defines fun, overall it was less fun, but thats me. I loath traction control, My traction control is in my clutch and throttle hands. Love coming outa a corner and launching the front end vertical. hang the back end out and do it. but again that what I call fun. and I still dunno what I wanna do when I grow up.

ok.. so he isn't the greatest mechanic... he is .. old school and unconventional.. he did take the plug out.. and turned the engine over many many times but the oil (or gremlins) didn't come out. he was feeling compression w/ his finger in the plug hole .. dont think he has a compression tool tbh... sooo... put the uni air filter on today... now when i try to run wide open it bogs down.. it runs ok as long as i keep it at half throttle or so.. but full throttle it starts slowing down and just doesn't sound good.. will be so pleased when things are finally running well again... Bogs Down, The jetting is Most likely Out to lunch. Good luck.

"I wish you were close to Boston, we'd have so many projects man" I grew up outside of buffalo,,,i did my winter time,,now it's warm and sunny time,,Lain,,,,but if we lived close i'd be happy to help on any build,,,i've done dozens,,,no scooters tho thats why i'm here,,,,to learn,,,,stuffed alot of high hp mills in little stuff,, ( my alltime fave was 914 porsches with v8 chev engines),,,,chassis and suspension probs inevitably show themselves when you start pushing farther than design intentions,,,RCQ is on the right track,,once the chassis and suspension gets sorted the bike will be awesome!!!! i'll bet it will top 80mph without too much trouble,,,with a real comfortable cruise 65-70,,,and he won't have to worry about the thing blowing up Outside Buff? Beef on a Wick? Peak-n-Peak, Holiday Valley? Dude I wanna shovel a Stroker SBC in my 986 Porche

I am still WAAYYY confused. You say your mechanic is great. OK - so at the first hint of ANY possible engine problem the first thing he would have done is pull the plug, screw in the compression tester, and see what the compression was. Ten minutes. He didn't, which is IMPOSSIBLE for an actual mechanic. Next - without even checking he came to the conclusion the compression was too high. First thing any mechanic would have done is pull the plug, screw in the compression tester, and see what the compression was. Ten minutes. He didn't, which is IMPOSSIBLE for an actual mechanic. Then he theorized the combustion chamber was filled with oil (or gas, or zebras ... whatever). First thing ANY mechanic would have done is remove the plug and turn the engine over, which would have spit any zebras or walruses or oil out the plug opening and cured the problem. FIVE minutes. He didn't. I'm kind of doubting the "great mechanic" thing ..... So now the scooter is magically running (all those pesky T-Rexes must have departed the combustion chamber) but it's showing some symptoms of incorrect tuning. First thing ANY mechanic would have down is tune the damned thing, including any different jets (if needed). He didn't .... . Pistonguys really been biting his young on this one. C'mon these simple diagnose takes seconds to a couple minutes. A Systematic few steps that Are Always followed This guys costing him money and its his only ride what lose a job cant get some food. dmn

Woo-HOO!
Even though I'm an old-school Harley and Brit bike guy, I'm ALSO old-school kart-guy enough to still be a sucker for a screaming 2-stroke...
I started reminiscing about the ear-splitting "ping-ping-pingity-ping-ping" and sweet smell of castor-oil and found a couple examples of 2-stroke SCOOTERS that sort of get the blood flowing in this old biker's bones...
Looks to me like these bad-boys might just have been built by the same scooter-jockey (maybe after a "bad-meatloaf" dream...). I'm impressed by the blower and multi-engine rear-view, and WOW... That bottom one... Looks to me like about 8-cylinders of watercooled 2-stroke madness!
Pretty clean engineering, too!
I think THESE rides might even be a serious challenge to a crotch-rocket in the quarter-mile!
Don't know WHAT these motors are originally from: snow-machine, outboard-motors, whatever... But I'd guess each 2-lunger in the bottom pic to be around 250 cc, so, FOUR of 'em should be around 1,000 cc, and, well-set up, around 250 ponies at 18K rpm... Talk about an "E-Ticket-Ride"!
Dang, I'd like to HEAR those run!
Enjoy the eye-candy!
Leo in Texas Old School Kart guy Mac's? U know Zoom or Haddock? I can still taste this stuff. What good times
