If you go with a 24mm carb you will at least need a 105 main jet with perf filter and pipe. I don't know your set up but I had 50mm (85cc) ncy piston and hoca head with pipe and high flow air filter and tuned all year round right on the $$$ with a 105 main jet. 52mm piston is big, but just to give you an idea.

I also got bunches...I tend to like a stock for my non bbk 150cc. They snap if you tap throttle and are fair all around w/ 13 gram r. Weights. I don't know what i was thinking when I bought a stupid blue spring. Was way weaker than my stock ones. Maby some are different but I like stock. I might try a yellow or red for bbk 170 bike someday. You gotta watch out...what may work for one bike might be a total waste of money for another.

Nothing like a giant bbk. I got tons of miles out of a ncy 50 mm kit w/ 24mm carb. I was on a taotao and so reliable, I never learned how to wrench at all for years. BTW... Hoca head would sing like a song bird!! I would break a bbk in though. Who knows how much it may matter.

Ever ran a 50mm kit w/ 24mm (150cc) carb. I am curious why you would step up cc's and not try a 24mm carb. Sounds cool, but I'm willing to bet it will be stubborn to start in the cold... w/ out kicking. Good luck, I like 50 BBK bikes. Update lrt and let us know if you mean gps on those speeds.

All should be the same on most scooters... take top most plastic off by 4 screws, don't over tighten, they strip easy then you should see clearly what to do from there. Don't rush lining up tabs on reinstall,I learn everything the hard way by breaking stuff. Probably might find out what it is 1st so then you could search scrappy dog scooters or parts for scooters with the right search quarry. I'm not big on wrenching but had mine off and I think it's not hard. DON"T STRIP small screws in plastic on re assembly. Also 1 long screw in front you may need a stumpy screw driver for, normally reg scoots just a long one will do. Good luck.

yes sir, I got a gy6 stock clutch and didn't look, just installed, few miles later I noticed a snag when pushing on grass, didden't think anything of it.Turns out after putting on brand new dr pulley (front variator)the needle bearing in clutch froze up locked up (briefly) front variator outer fan shredded on the splines. For a stock gy6 clutch I highly recommend what he said. The needle bearing was bone dry.Even a new bike, use good quality....MAKE SURE there is NO sling off possible. When you put together, slide it a bunch in hand cause any globs will make you have to take it apart, sand pads and drum from slippage. Just did mine for the year so that's why I brought it up,not to insult ones intelligence. Love the forum, don't know who's learning what, but it's good to gather. New members could learn a lot in a week of searching/reading. Love,Peace&Bearing Grease!!

I read Alley's guide to carb tuning, I always assumed it is an air passage on the carb screw. I thought I always smelled gas when turned clockwise. Is that certain that it's fuel and clockwise is leaning it?

ouch, I already got 1 odd ball (pathfinder) thought that was bad. No way near this. Well, I change oil with royal purple before black, and do valves lots. That's why they say-the best you can hope for is to die in your sleep

Top quality performance camshafts in three different configurations. These come in T-one (high 5.5mm lift) T-100 (for midrange) and T-300 (for top end). These cams are high heat treated and ground to shape. Good quality bearings. These are for the discerning engine builder only who knows what they are doing and knows what they want. Fits standard GY6 engines as well as our gy6-200 and the BN 150. Choose your cam below for only $109. Above is Scrappy, also I found gy6 store has Tiada rocker assembly and valve seat. I think these will work if I blew Valves. You defiantly need 80mm stud spacing! Never heard of cooling chamber. Any pics and experience on these appreciated. Opinions welcome too

Does anybody know (KNOW) anything about thees motors. I wonder about the stock valve port size,in and ex ports (cylinder outlets)themselves, combustion chamber size etc. I don't think stock there's much other than wide stud spacing, nice size cyl walls. I run a 122 main jet. runs good. Does anybody have a mean custom built 80mm stud space ship? Any info on period

Scrappy has parts, but according to him he sells cams that will work with 80 mm stud spacing models and traditional 76 mm spacing. On left of scrappydogscooters.com look to gy6-200 gy6B dedicated page and check out all the parts. Good luck.... I love my 161QMK. Hope yours is running soon!

First of all I have a 150cc ex (Wolf/Gorilla) want a little more gear with out gearing up the rear. I know about rollers, but she got all I can get that way and I tried a 115 variator and was wayyyyy too tall. Was thinking of like 9g rollers/sliders and trying 115mm variator again. How about some good advice on clutches and torque spring/roller set up's? Any advice for a little more gear would help. I wish they made a slightly wider belt like a 835-22-30 or something.

Try a search at Eagleatvparts.com for middle kick stand. &25.00. I have used them for taotao tires, they were reliable.
