I use potobucket when I need a hosting site, but I really do not like my photos so conveniently posted someplace where everyone can look at them. Plus if the hosting site goes defunct all your pictures disappear from the all the threads you posted to. At least if you post to the forum direct it will always be there....well unless they go defunct. True that, that's kinda why i went with Post Image, no spam (calendars, photo printing, etc), no public photo share, none of that, just a place to park pics. And the simpler it is, the lower the overhead, the better the chances of it sticking around. Yes mine has the dual rear tail lights. Looks pretty cool. Reminds me of some cool old style goggles. I should find some old goggles that look similar and wear them while riding around. That would be too funny. Definitely. When I purchased mine I did a search to find the manufacture since the site does not list a manufacture, just a model number. The number came up as a Roketa. I have read though that Roketa was a branded name here in the States at one time, but are more of a importer now. When I received the unit it states on the tag it is a Jonway. Jonway still does not show this scooter on their website though, strange. It is the closest clone of the Zuma/BWS that I have seen. The rear rack for the Zuma is $114.00, which seems a bit steep for me, I just have not wanted to spend the money to see if it will work. I wonder if the manufacturers are afraid of Yamaha, since mine is in the same boat, looking at Znen's page, i can't find it either. I agree about that price, only worth it if its returnable.

For hosting my pics i switched from Photobucket to postimage.org which is much more minimalistic, which is just what i want. Technically you don't even need an account, but having one lets you set up folders and easily find your pictures down the road, otherwise you have to bookmark them to find them again. Yep, membership required to see them unfortunately. Looks at the Roketa, "Does yours have that tail light, or the more traditional of mine? I think the dual round is rather neat. I wonder ifn you could buy a rack from somewhere... Heck, wonder ifn Bintelli would sell you the parts, though not sure they'd bolt up." For my next one, prolly sometime next year, i'm hoping to get the 150cc version of this: www.extremescooters.biz/MC-D50TKC.aspx

I have the 150cc Jonway version of your scooter. I love it! I need a rear rack like yours though so I can add a trunk.
Got pics? The only one i saw of yours on the board was a front shot.

Still rolling along, the problem reappeared today when i first started it up, but it did go away. Interestingly enough, we got a new wrinkle, while we had the usual give it throttle and it dies, this time i backed off before it stalled, then started cranking it again, and nothing happened. I don't mean it didn't stall, i mean the engine speed never changed, it stayed at idle regardless of the throttle position. Aside from that, on the road home, i decided to ignore the flood warning signs, i mean i can see the double yellow, how deep can it be? Yeah, ummm... wound up walking it back when it stalled in water up to the top of my boots. My new mantra 'it is a scooter, not a boat, it is a scooter, not a boat'

Since i've got a bit more storage (see my discount/shopping thread) that i don't technically need, it came to mind that i should prolly keep a small tool kit on board to deal with problems that inevitably will arise.
What makes sense as a field tool kit for a scooter? We're talking universal in case the size or type (2T vs 4T) makes a difference in what you need so you can help others.

Well, here's hoping it doesn't happen again -- or if it does, the fix is easy. After all, we can't have "The Scooter Of War" chugging out, now, can we? I had to do some digging before I found the corresponding Shakespeare, LOL! Shouldn't've been much digging, i had to Google it to verify the wording after all. While i knew it was Shakespeare, i of course remember it from Star Trek VI.

Hey Javarod, Did you ever figure out what your intermittent issue was? Unfortunately, nope. I need to carry a wrench to pull the trans cover next time it happens since by the time it gets to the shop it works fine.

Nice bike, bintelli seems like a pretty legit dealer. I was on a bit more of a budget so I got an ssr x6 150 zuma clone. Pretty much the exact same as the havoc, built by znen I think, except it has 10" wheels with 130 10 front and 120 10 rear. Still has the long case. Anyways I rly like mine it looks almost exactly the same as the havoc but its only like 1250 so its a tiny bit cheaper. I think theyre both nice looking bikes, and I have nothing to complain about pertaining to the build quality, no leaks or loose parts and it runs well. Just another option I wanted to mention if youre into zuma clones. Yeah, John over at Rock Road has been around for a while. I think Bintelli ( Bintelli - Justin Bintelli - Jason ) is fairly new, the brand at least, but i get the impression that its run by a bunch of experienced people who decided to do more than just sell scooters. Znen has been around a while, back when i was on ScootDawg and last had a scooter, around 08, they were one of the top brands, Zongshen being another (now if only i could get someone to import Zongshen wave clones (see my thread on that)...), problem was finding them. Better = more expensive, and most China scooter sellers were drop shippers looking for the cheapest product, and often changing makers often. Bintelli is using only Znen, so you know what you're getting, and it gives a reliable source for the product. With the savings being only $150, i think i'd pay the difference for the bigger wheels, and knowing its back by a solid importer that'll be around should i need help.

Hey Javarod, I just wanted to check in and see how things were going with your scoot....did the dealer get your problem fixed? By the way, I get a kick out of the nickname "The Scooter Of War" LOL! What made you decide to name it that? Unfortunately nothing found, though they did clean and inspect the tranny. The name is a bad joke, check my sig for the whole thing (and stuff in there is clickable, in fact I just tweaked the Bintelli banner). ••Finally got to looking at this on my computer, dunno why my reply was jammed into the quote. Fixed now albeit with some difficulty. ••

16 June That's to 1 Sale a Day, i found a small backpack over on eBay. And when i say small, we're talking a one strap 11X8X4 inch or so bag. I'm thinking that it should hang nicely from the back hook, and i can use the two rings on it to anchor it so it doesn't swing and sway. A little extra storage space, especially for those items you don't want to leave with the bike can't hurt, an it?

Ok, lets revive this. At this time i've done nothing, but i'm getting ready to. I figure i'll focus on two areas, the transmission and the muffler, since those seem to have been Honda's favorite way to restrict a bike. CVT kit Its undoubtedly over kill right now, but i figure might as well upgrade now since we're expecting to need rollers, and i think the clutch is sticking. This'll take care of most of the desrestricting needed, though i'll have to check for a spacer. Apparently Honda used a different ramp for the P & Iowa versions, this'll give us a standard one, new clutch, and weights plus a few other new parts. Muffler's are a bit confusing, but this looks to be the right one, just a basic stock. Or would i be better off getting a performance pipe (assuming i can find one)? Is anyone familiar with the seller? Obviously i'd prefer to shop locally, but parts for this seem to be a bit hard to find for some reason. And of course, what else should i do? Changing the belt while i'm in there is obvious, would a Misuboshi be good enough, or should i upgrade to the Battlescooter belt? Carb jet should be a # , if its smaller that obviously needs to change, or should i upgrade that? Basic tune up of course (clean or replace filters, replace plug, ?). Is there any point to ignition upgrades such as a hotter coil or CDI?

Hmmm, anyone know what connectors are used for the lighting, and where to get parts (connectors, pins, crimping tool)? I mean where it plugs into the main harness? I'm thinking of adding some extra lighting and would like to add it to the light circuit without hacking up the harness. I'm thinking get the parts to build my own short harness to add in that gives me leads to connect to rather than modifying the existing wiring. Hey Javarod, You can get all the terminals, pins, plugs and the crimper from cycleterminal.com. I've placed a few orders with this company and it's a good company. As far as what plugs you have, I can't say for sure because mine is a 150cc not the 50cc. Just pull the plastic off and have a look. The front faring comes off really easy. What kind of additional lighting are you planning on running? I would expect the Havoc to have the same connector regardless of motor size, since what i'm interested in is where the light socket plugs into the main harness. Even if the main harness changes between engine sizes, i'd expect that the light socket doesn't, therefore the plug would remain the same. A pair of small red LED bolts on the back (they were marketed as license plate bolts but are too wide) and a pair of small amber strips on the front. Basically just side marker lights right now, since they're all stuff i have kicking around. ••EDIT Just noticed i use two instead of too. Funny i should do that as i do story editing as a hobby••

The one in my scoot i got on clearance at work dirt cheap. My biggest problem is there's not much light where my scooter is parked which makes unlocking it and tying down my lunch box a bit of a challenge. A light like this solves it nicely.
