Ok Great you are mechanically inclined. Plug dry and no FIRE means no fuel is being sucked into the intake, so you currently have a fuel delivery problem. Do this take the Vacuum hose coming off the intake manifold from where ever you have it going PETCOCK or a "T" and pour a teaspoon of gas down it and let it flow into the intake connect the vacuum hose back on and see if it WILL FIRE at least once. Alleyoop Also what would it be helpful to have pictures and videos of?

Alleyoop Ok I'm glad I'm finally getting some help thank you so much! Right now its sitting in the garage and I'm at home. But I will definitely be over there tomorrow. If it still doesn't start or if it does start then what should I do.

Since you mentioned all that you did then I would RE-CHECK the timing. Also cranking it like that and it does not FIRE take the plug out and see if it is WET or DRY. That will tell a lot of what may be the problem, NO SPARK or NO FUEL. Alleyoop When I put it back to together I made sure it was at TDC and the little holes were lined up with the walls and the big hole was facing away from the motor. And I know a little bit about these scooters so I'm understanding you perfectly. And the plug is dry

Just saw the VIDEO and the first thing you need is a stronger battery to turn the motor over faster.Or if you have a car or buddy with a car jump the battery in the scoot BUT DO NOT HAVE THE CAR RUNNING when you jump the scoot battery. OK next time I'm at the garage I will do that. What if it doesn't start afterwards?

Wow,,timing sounds out of wack to me..make sure all the timing marks like TDC and cam sprocket all line up perfect.. Its cranking slow but sounds off time to me.Maybe try to jump it from a stronger battery also..get the motor to spin a little faster. The starter motor might be getting weak also..it has compression cause I hear that much..lol Lol would I go about getting the motor to spin faster. Could it be not turning fast enough to start? Would a new starter motor cause it to spin faster? I'm really confused with this scoot and I want to try anything to get it started

I have a 2013 tao tao atm 50 a1. it will not start it. I just replaced CDI, ignition coil, new kei hen carb, new fuel and vaccum lines and still no start. I get a blue spark when I ground it to the valve cover. I see gas being sucked into the fuel filter. The battery is new and charged. I'm pretty sure it has compression cause I just replaced the head and base gasket and it pushes my finger off the hole. All it does it turn over. It won't even start with starting fluid sprayed into the intake. Please help I really want it to start.

Here is the valves and piston they don't look very good. Also there is no gaskets. Previous owner didn't take very good care of it. Probably why I got it for free

When did you adjust the valves last? With just 1050 miles, this scooter isn't fully broken in yet, let alone worn out. Something tells me, it has never had a PDI done on it. You can find lots of help with procedures (tune ups etc.) in other parts of this forum. Don't have feeler gauges to adjust the valves any other things to adjust valves with

I think my scooter Is not starting due to low compression. Is there any way to fix it or am I screwed.

Hey everybody I am looking to buy a 100cc big bore kit for my taotao atm50a1. What is the best 100cc BBK you all would recommend. Also what carb would go best with the new BBK. I still have the stock carb. I am also planning to buy new a performance variator, performance clutch, new clutch spring (not sure which size. I need to get up hills, and take off fairly quickly, what other upgrades would you recommend.
