My belt got broke in the middle of a ride the other day and I can't see a size on the belt anywhere. So can you help me out with the size of this belt. Also what's the tool called that helps remove the variator bolt?

lain I'm confused haha I just put another starter solenoid on pushed the starter button and she came straight to life. Another thing that is confusing me is its starting with out a battery to frame ground? I really wasent expecting it to work It may have just had a bad solenoid all along and maybe that is what prevented the thief from riding it away. That scoot did not want to be stolen haha. Don't let it run or start without proper grounding, you'll end up frying a lot of stuff which will in turn force you to replace things. You can get a spool of 12 gauge wire for around $10, which is substantially less in comparison to any part or combination of parts you would have to replace when they fry. Add grounding wire to the battery and the frame, and check for anything else that may be wacky, like missing ground for the valve cover or the starter motor. Thanks so much. I didn't think it was right to not have the battery to frame ground I'm going to get it taken care of as soon as possible.

Someone tried to steal my cousins scooter and ripped most of the ignition out cut up the back of the ignition wires then retaped them cut the battery cables so he gave it to me because he doesn't have time to repair it. It is a peace sports tpgs 804 50cc it has a 4 pin ignition (I ordered one already).
When ever I connect the battery with a positive cable from the solenoid to the battery and a ground cable from the motor to battery the only things that work are the horn, speedo light, brake light stays on When I push the starter button nothing happens not even a click . does the starter button not work if the ignition is missing? I'm confused on if the ignition will fix this problem or do I need more parts. Please help
