What kind of fuel? Might make a difference. Also, I had some difficulty with stalls. I ended up raising the idle and that worked for me.

Instead of buying a larger scooter I upgraded my carburetor , added a "performance" exhaust. Much improved performance.

Is it EVER a good idea to trade in a scooter for a larger one? What should I expect?

Hi from Saint Pete Beach. I ride a 2010 50cc unmodified Shenke (Jonway) scooter. I used to ride a motorcycle back in the day. Now that my kids are grown I thought I'd rent a scooter at the beach and got hooked. I bought my scoot as a used dealer maintained rental. That seems to have been a good choice as the scooter has no problems. I'm researching larger scooters as I want better speed.
