The counter gear set? Closest to the brake drum or closest to the clutch bell?

Ok so as I was taking the rear gear case apart and pulled it away, the clutch shaft stayed attached to the scooter and a white nylon washer fell to the ground. My question is...where does this washer go? It must go in between some gears and the case or something to act like a spacer or something to absorb load shock? Does anyone know what I'm talking about? I'll try to get a picture up if I can

Ok guys so I ordered a new clutch output shaft and a new counter gear and when it all shows up I've calculated that I'm gonna have a overall gear ratio of 12.07:1 with the different tooth count vs 13.121:1 with the old gear combo.
Now can someone on here who's a little smarter than me tell me what kind of gain in mph I should theoretically see? Currently I'm pulling 35mph GPS verified at 8300rpms.

If I get a 52 tooth counter gear vs my 53, and press the big gear off and put on my current one then it should mesh and be back on the road! Yea?

I suppose I could get the shaft with sixteen teeth but then I would have to change out the rest of the gears too. Has anyone ever had to do this lol??

I don't believe so, I checked one on PartsForScooters and the gear tooth count was right but he splines count was wrong

I'll take the shaft lol, probably wanna verify with lots of measurements first. It's just a standard cheap Chinese scooter so I wouldn't think it's be that odd ball

So the other day I was taking my clutch bell off to clean out the friction material dust just as a periodic maintenance an upon taking the nut off I noticed that the threads on the end of the shaft were stretched farther apart in one section. They were stretched in the lefty loosy direction like my impact gun twisted it off on reverse. I always put some blue loctite on as added security and never thought anything of it, anyways I went to put the nut back on figuring it was probably gonna break and sure enough it snapped right off on the first blow of the impact gun. Mind u this is a 3/8" impact gun I set on the lowest setting with a teasable trigger so it was meant to break I guess.
So now I'm in need and cannot find the clutch output shaft that has the correct tooth count on the gear side. It is 155mm long, 22count splined end, 15 teeth on the gear end. All the ones I see are for 16 teeth. Called scrappy and mainely scooters and they said give the forum a try as they don't have access to the shaft I need.
Does anyone have one to sell or know where I can buy one online?
